Exclusive: BATMAN ETERNAL #48—52 Solicitations

How are we approaching the end of BATMAN ETERNAL already? We still have some time left as issue #36 is on sale this week. The series will be ending in April, just as CONVERGENCE #0 begins. BATMAN ETERNAL #52 will be the final issue and even though it's still a few months away, we've been seeing some big repercussions for Batman in the series.

The solicitations for the March books will happen soon but DC has given us the first look at the cover to issue #51 by Cliff Chiang, along with the solicit text. Now with whatever big things happening in these final issues, the solicit text will be the same for these last remaining issues.

This is currently my favorite weekly, so I don't know what to get after Eternal ends.

Batman Eternal season 2?

I bet Killer Moth was behind everything all along!

Since it comes out on April first it ends with bruce waking up wizatd of oz style.

Scott Snyder has already announced year two in his AMA on Reddit A while back. So its not going to end its just going to take a break with the rest of DCs books it will be back with a re launch and new numbering.

Don't know how it's going to end, but it had better be good and worthwhile considering how much I have invested in it at this point. So far it's been pretty good, better than I expected for a weekly, just please don't flop the end.

its been a excellent series, i've enjoyed it since issue one, and i'll be sad to see it go. i'll probably end up going to either batman or detective once this is complete.

Hmm, since the villain knows Bruce Wayne as Batman as per the first issue said that. I considered the possibility that maybe the villain is Hugo Strange. This is all some grand scheme to finally prove to the world that the Batman is no hero after all and Strange wants to flaunt it.

It's.....Batwing. I mean, he's just upset that Batman saved Spoiler before him. XD
