Great concept, can't wait for it.
Also glad to see Psylocke and Storm lose the one piece bathing suit look.

I love the idea but I HATE the way they are emphasising that this is an "all female team" and the whole XX thing. If it was an all male team it would be considered usual and that's what bugs me.
But I'll take what I can get <3
Yeah, marketing is still a pretty shallow area. If they think playing up the all woman angle will get people talking about the book, they'll play it up big time. Hopefully the actual comic won't dwell too much on the team's gender.

@akbogert: You have me mistaken, I wasn't saying that X-23 was unoriginal. I was saying that she has some of the most annoying fans.
Overzealous for sure, as evidenced if nothing else by how many posts on this thread deal with her. But the suggestion that "stapling boobs" on Wolverine is even remotely similar to X-23 is just so trite.
I like the idea of an all female X-book, but the characters used are the same old ones.
Isn't Psylocke apart of three teams now? As is Storm and Rogue?
I would of liked to of seen say, Jubilee leading, Armor, Lifeguard, Cecilia Reyes and Husk.
I agree with BatWatch bad Name for this Series, but whatever. If it helps sell, then so be it. I find it interesting that Betsy & Oro are in 2 teams. Keeps making me think that they both switch sides since both are coming off a long relationship that ended in a terrible way. ( + )
Great team and im really loving Storm's mohawk. Too bad teen Jean isnt with the group but I guess she has other things to worry about right now...

Well this is awesome... but what about these M.I.A characters: Hepzibah, Lifeguard, Blink, Boom Boom, Ariel, Frenzy, Husk, Magma, Marrow, and Stacy X?
Frenzy was seen recently in X-Men Legacy... but a few cameos isn't justice!
Husk was seen quitting the JG school because of an imbalance of her mind and powers, but hasn't been seen since!
The above team are all awesome characters but I'd rather see a couple of lesser known/MIA characters thrown into the mix!
You sir, seem to have a x-men addiction up to my par. You just named a couple of my favorites. It's a shame more people didn't read New Mutants.
Awesome! I love almost all of these characters! Not a huge Jubilee fan, but that's definitely not going to stop me from reading this.
I'm looking forward to this now that I see the team (alhough not a huge storm fan, it will be cool to see jubilee, kitty, summers and rougue.......oh ya and damn girl (psylocke)
@BR_Havoc: go with defenders. I dont read any marvel, but that one seems to have the most potencial. It seems like a training day type relationship between the 2 girls. XX seems like a bunch of random women thrown together. I would also suggest worlds finest. Pick up one, you might like it:-)
This is the first new series in a while that really has me interested. Definitely picking it up. Also, X-23 would be a perfect addition the team.
@The Mighty Monarch: God forbid there be more than one! In any case, I'm so ready for this...though like many others I'd like to see some lesser knowns thrown in, but I suppose they don't carry enough weight for the risk of making an all female team.
so apparently Storm and Psylocke NEED to be on the same team all the time because they cant work without each other......

I've found someone who appreciates X-Men like I do... YAY! And yes, New Mutants (if taken in a new direction) would have made it.
But I'm a lover of all things X-Men!!
i haven't read so much of Brian Woods work (so its about time) and since i like the artwork and all the characters i will definitely give this a chance!
I'm actually going to start picking up Uncanny X-Force because of this line up. I did enjoy Woods' mini with Wolverine and the X-Men.
