Deadpool Loves...Ice Cream?

Earlier today Marvel unveiled their latest Marvel NOW! teaser and it features none other than everyone's favorite Merc With A Mouth. The image features Deadpool about to be squashed by an enormous ice cream truck. What better way for him to go out?

DEADPOOL returns this April. The series is written by Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn and is illustrated by Mike Hawthorne.

Is this going to be another deadpool book ? If so i am excited i love deadpool !!!!

I knew he liked Ice Cream. I bet he'll make a "Cold shoulder" pun in the comic.

Tony Moore is leaving?

Hawthorne looks like a good fit, but man, Moore was perfect for that book.

@Prim3tim33: No same book, but as you can see there will be a new artist and a new story arc.

marvel has already released two other teaser posters to get people to jump onto those books.

Why is Tony Moore leaving?!?!

What. The. Hell... Tony Moore's art was the main reason I was sticking with this book, and now he is leaving? Oh crap.

another deadpool book or is it a teaser for a new storyline?

There's something strange about this ad campaign.

I scream ,you scream, we all scream for him, don't even try cause you can't ignore him.

I love this title too bad Moore is leaving though.

Tony Moore is not leaving, Mike Hawthorne is just replacing him for an arc. Mike says on his blog that he and Tony Moore will be the main rotating artist on the series. So Tony is going to do the zombie president arc, then Mike will do this arc, than Tony will come back for the arc after that.

uhm they this before and it didnt work when they were putting out deadpool, deadpool team up, deadpool max, deadpool corps, and merc with a mouth now he's going to be in thunderbolts, deadpool and deadpool2???. sales weren't good marvel, learn from your mistakes not keep repeating them. stop ruining characters by wolverining them. you have PLENTY of characters you can give a book to, no need for the same character to be in 3-5 books. and how can he return when he hasnt gone anywhere??

It's a teaser for a new story line, not a new Deadpool book.

It's funny how people do not read the "to be continued" on the teaser/poster?

Marvel is clearly using 2 different types of teaser: 1 for new series (xx, birth) and 1 for new stories (explosive, smash, fired, i scream). Besides, who really needs a 2nd Deadpool series?

Only thing I noticed other than the ice cream truck was Tony Moore's name no longer at the bottom. Makes me a sad panda...

There would be so much less chatter and complaints if people just read some of the other comment instead of racing to type there dislike for something.

Hope he's fighting Eye Scream.
