"Due to licensing restrictions, fans in the UK and Ireland can only purchase this comic digitally."

A comic based on a British series, released by a British publisher, can't be bought in Britain?

I don't know all there is to know about licensing, but that seems kind of bizarre to me, and disappointing for fans who don't read comics digitally.

I could be wrong, but I think something happened to reset the regenerations, so he's back to having his full amount ahead of him. That may also be why he's older, as supposedly he's been portrayed as younger with each regeneration.

Spoilers: at the end of The time of the Doctor, the other time lords gave him some more energy so he could regenerate to save himself (that's all I can say without spoiling everything so I recommend you watch it).

Also, while you are free to have your own opinion mr. i_dont_like_comics, but Matt Smith was awesome!

Because BBC wants the show to keep airing, so they need to come up with a reason why.

The Doctor was given a new regeneration cycle by the Time Lords.

Doctor Who has never been my favorite show but I did enjoy aspects of it. However, the delay between "Seasons" is so bad that I find my interest completely dropping off. How long has been since there was an actual season? Isn't it almost two years now, not counting the little one shot specials here and there?

Oh boy he sure was, even though I only watched the last 3 Doctors, Matt Smith is and always will be The Doctor. But don't forget that Steven Moffat made him awesome. Just like Sherlock ;)

@theblackhood: The Name of the Doctor was the last episode of Series 7, and it aired in May 2013, so yeah...a bit of a stretch in time since an actual series as opposed to a special, to say the least.

And I'm pretty sure that series still isn't on Netflix -__-

@mercy_: do you mean season 7 because that went on Netflix like a week ago where I am.

@batmandemon23: Huh, I must've somehow missed that. Thanks for the heads up.
