Alex de Campi pioneered the digital comics movement in 2009 when she released Valentine across numerous platforms and in multiple languages/territories. The Eisner Award nominee was ahead of her time in understanding the power of the digital medium. Alex de Campi's vision was one of Thrillbent's strongest influences and helped Mark Waid recognize how successful a platform devoted to digital comics could be. Now, de Campi has joined forces with Waid's digital comics company, Thrillbent ,for the release of Valentine Volume 2.
