It's that time of the month when we get to see the advanced solicits from Archie. This is a way to get some clues as to what you can expect. It also gives you the chance to run to your local comic shop (or you could pick up a phone) and let them know which comics to add to your pull list.

Note: ARCHIE #1 is on sale July 8 and has already been solicited.

@j_hickmanisgod:

Not necessarily. Issue # 4 was solicited before the lateness, but since #3 is coming out in May, there is a good chance #4 will be out in June and #5 will be out in July.

@parachomp: Both Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog's series are pretty good. They're less exclusively for kids and more for all ages, and they usually have pretty simple and entertaining stories. However, I personally find Mega Man a lot... Easier to read. Archie's Sonic may be what got me into comics a long time ago, but it always feels really clustered. It's easier to get into Mega Man, due to it being more recent in comparison to Sonic, and having very easy-to-find trades.

The last Mega Man/Sonic crossover was pretty good. I liked it, at least. It dragged on a bit, and the art was good, but not great. Though it's definitely an awesome read if you're a fan of either the Blue Bomber or the Blue Blur.

@m1cal: The comics were really bad 10 years ago. Since Ian Flynn took over the comics, it became a great book. You can start with the Sonic Saga 1 TPB that start at issue 261. Another starting point would be issue 200 or skip directely to the first cross over with Megaman. At issue 252 there is a reboot that throw away a lot of shitty characters created by Ken Penders and start a new continuity.
