Captain America's new movie is about 3 weeks away and Marvel Studios is making sure you'll want to see it on opening weekend. They've already they released a number of posters and extensive trailers, and now they're teasing us with a clip of Steve Rogers chasing down the Winter Solider. Who takes the time to open a door when you can just smash straight through it with a shield? Check out the video to see Steve's agility and speed being put to use.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens April 4. That date cannot get here soon enough.

Soooooo excited for this. This has been the movie I'm most excited for this year. Sadly, I can't see it on opening weekend because I will be in the Domincan on vacation (jealous?) but I'm going to see it right when I get back

It probably would have been quicker for him to turn the corner rather than jump on the wall and table

How else is he going to get bonus nitro without performing tricks?

I thought the same thing at first, but I think the implication is he's going too fast to make that tight of a turn, so he had to leap off the wall? That's how I decided to justify it, at least, instead of just "well, it looks cool."

Makes sense, later in the clip he's running so fast he ran right into the wall.

I love how he uses the shield as a bumper when running.

I also love the "I'm sorry about this, Steve" look Bucky gives him.

That was a lot of needless property damage on the part of Captain America. I hope that was the corporate offices of A.I.M. or something.

Well, the movie, by Marvel, confirms what all of us who are not too blinded by Bat love always knew ... Marvel does not consider Captain America a mere "peak human".

The dudes enhanced.

Plowing through walls, windows and doors in a fashion far more impressive than movie Juggernaut ... but then ... everything Marvel pumps out is leagues more impressive while evidencing far, far more character fidelity than Singer's X titles.

I truly wish Marvel had the rights to the franchise on the big screen.

But I digress. So excited for this movie.

Why I don’t see accusations in unnecessary property damage?

He was using his shield as a plow...

He was using his shield as a plow...

Without the adequate force behind it, it's just a metal disc (however unbreakable it might be).

Yes, and the fact it is unbreakable means a lot, why do you think people use brass knuckles when they beat people up? It's still the same force as a normal punch no?

Also i don't think you can compare jugs smashing through solid concrete walls to cap breaking through wood doors with his shield.
