Z-Index for the masthead has changed

It happened sometime today but the z-index for the site masthead (#masthead) was increased to 5000060 making it three digits higher then any other z-index on the site I believe, this means that the top of the site: menu, search, user bar, CV logo, etc show up in front of anything else i.e when you open the add image dialog or add to list dialog or add link dialog or any other dialogs the masthead shows in front of it instead of behind, this also causes problems with plugins that place things in the upper section of the browser window.

Update: The image viewer is also being cut off because of the z-index if you are scrolled to the top, screenshot, it is cutting off the comment box and the tops of images.

This is greek to me. Paging @mrpibb or @alexisg
