When looking at volume pages there are two sidebars: one for most issue credits and the other for most issue appearances, historically clicking those should filter the current volume for that association so if character X appeared in 3 of the 10 issues clicking that would make just the three appear on the volume page. These links however just lead to the default main page of the person or character at which point you have to click View All for the issue appearances then find the volume you were just at and then click the X Appearances link to see the filter, multiple steps just to do what should be done in one step.
I think I reported this before but I dunno.
