Text Area Not Functional

At least, not for firefox (Windows 7). So, there's this thing, and when I click on it, the text area, it does literally nothing. Not cursor mark, and no keys register. It's like the text box is completely useless. It's only occurring with Firefox, but works fine with other browsers I've tried. Yes, I've tried the "clear cache and cookies and stuff" thing.

@antonia: Where are you trying to fill out the text area? Have you tried disabling all browser extensions in Firefox?

I don't have any extensions for my FireFox because, aside from my natural distaste for most extensions, this is like the first time I've tried using it since installing it.
