I'm going to assume things aren't as fixed as originally suggested -- and that whatever's happening, things will eventually get back to normal. I don't know why stuff's disappearing but so long as it comes back, I don't mind.
Yeah, every time I post something on a thread everything on my profile resets... the background the profile pic...
EDIT: every time it resets i have to set it back up again manually... please help :)
just happened to me too!!! AGAIN!!! this really is bannanas! anybody alert a mod or something?
Mine too- background, profile image and avatar gone, along with my "about me" section.
This is very farking annoying. After the site redesign, I had to redo multiple blogs because of the changes to images. With recent "fixes," I now have to do all those AGAIN, plus a couple hundred I've done since then. Is it fricking possible to "push out new code" without breaking fifteen other fracking things?
EDIT: 1 hour 44 minutes later: apparently it's fine again, for now. The images thing is still annoying though.
Happening to me right now. Last night as well. No avatar, profile image and a generic background.
Affecting my "About Me" blurb as well. I am now apparently anti-social. =)
same here. goes in and out. kinda not happy about re-typing my "about me" as I had such a good one before and not sure if I can recreate it!
@darkchild: @jonny_anonymous: again, please don't edit your profiles if you see it missing. It's a bad cache, your profiles are still existing and the cache expires in 5 minutes. If you refresh your profile then, you'll see your content back. We're looking into the problem, and have a couple of leads (it seems to be effecting comic vine only which is wierd). Hopefully have a fix in the morning
@lvenger: again, this is cache. They'll come back in 5 minutes. We are working on a fix. DO NOT change them if you see them missing. Once the cache expires (5-10 minutes), you'll see that your profile is ok.
