Locked Out of Accounts

Just to say, I'm an RPG person; we use alternates to represent different characters and generally not for trolling purposes.

But a few moments ago, everything became inaccessible. On multiple accounts (every one I've tried), when I input name and password, I get told "wrong password or username." Which is wrong. Yes I've checked. Multiple times, with extreme carefulness. Neither username nor password is wrong. The only saving grace for me is I keep this account on a perpetual Chrome log-in just in case this exact thing happened.

I'm having this issue on multiple accounts of mine (including my moderator account) and I'm pretty sure they're all tied to the same IP

I had the same issue. try logging on with your e-mail instead of your username

@kcomicfan: @_dark_knight: @adriana_huntington: @asherah: all of your accounts look fine, maybe there is a problem with the log-in server, try logging in from a different browser to see if it is browser specific and if it is try clearing your cache in your primary browser, if it is a problem with the login server and it lasts until tomorrow email support@comicvine.com with your info and a link to this thread so this can be escalated.

Apologies for this - the engineers were working on something that had some adverse affects on older accounts. They rolled it back last night and hopefully it's all working now.

@rorie: I just got some message telling me something was wrong with my ip address and to prove I'm not a robot when I troed to come on the site.Then I was giving a 24 hour pass?

This was just an error during a code push; you shouldn't see it again and you shouldn't have to worry about it. Sorry for the trouble.
