Impossible to Create a List?

I realize that there are other threads related to this issue but haven't seen one in a while. Since I've signed up (a couple months) I have been unable to create a list whether ordered or unordered. Every time I try to submit I get a "Problem Occurred Processing This Request" at the top of the screen. I am using my hp laptop and using windows 8 if those are details you need to help. It got annoying to the point where I have copied all of the list info I want to post into word so I can simply copy and paste them each time I try to create a list without worrying about lost info. If I could get any feedback it would be appreciated because while not a super serious issue it is annoying. Still love the site and forums :D thanks

@d_bones: What browser are you using? Can you try logging in with a different browser and see if it still happens? Probably not based on your browser, but I'd like to confirm that before I send this along to an engineer. Sorry for the trouble!

@d_bones: Can you try it in Chrome or Firefox or Safari to see if it works in either of those?

@rorie: Rorie thanks for the quick reply and suggestion, quickly installed Firefox to see if it would work and it did. My only worry now is whether or not I will always have to be on Firefox to create/edit lists or if this is something the engineers can fix. Once again thanks a lot.

PS: You're doing a great job and i sincerely miss the good ole Screened days :D

Hmm, are you using Internet Explorer 10? We've been having some issues with that browser lately. I think that people using the IE11 preview build report them not to be a problem, but in the meantime I'll see if a developer can look into this. Hopefully IE11 will be released to the public soon, though.

As a fellow IE user I have had the same issue since the re-launch of the page sadly. Different browsers do seem to work though so go ahead and try that, it just sucks you will have to use a browser you arent fully comfortable with to use certain features.

@bruxae: it works in IE just turn off compatibility mode.

@pikahyper: Thanks for the tip but sadly this doesnt work for me either, rather it makes the whole site looks wonky and no lists pops up in any search bar so its impossible to add things to lists anyway.

@bruxae: ah yep looks like it is bugged in IE 10 again, list saves won't submit.

I'll file a bug, sorry for the trouble.

Lists are still not working for IE 10.
