I was banned for several hours.

I am sorry to say but I had to make an alt. I thought the mods banned me but no I wasn't. I just want to say that, please fix this glitch. It can be very alarming. Thanks ;-)

@rocketraccoonthingy: There's a bug that causes karma to go up for no reason.

If I have any trouble I usually PM every mod at once. Saren, SC, jedixman, BumpyBoo, Renchamp, God Spawn, and Vance Astro.

Don't they send you an email saying you were banned.

The same thing happened to be about a week ago, I had to get on one of my alts and get a hold of a Mod to reverse it because I know I didn't do anything wrong. Apparently it's a bug that's going around.

There's been a large amount of spam lately that the engineers are trying to tamp down on. Unfortunately this can lead to some false positives from time to time with the automated scanners. If you ever find yourself inexplicably banned, please reach out to either support at comicvine.com or use an alt account to PM the moderators. Sorry for the trouble.

I've had this happen to two accounts, now. Please tell me that this is being fixed.

@rocketraccoonthingy: I sent a private message about what happened. There was a very spammy message sent by you. I'm sure it was not on purpose.

@edgework: They were alt accounts: Inevitable_One and Gwahlur_Rising. The former was fixed by a mod, and the latter seemed to be unlocked shortly thereafter automatically. It's happened to a few people on the RPG forum and the only common thread I can see between the accounts is they all had relatively low post counts.

Both got auto flagged because it looked like you were pushing a body building scam. Reading the content I can see you weren't but to a machine you're a total spammer selling snake oil. Sorry about that.

I was banned and had my content deleted from what I can only assume was a link to an article in the guardian posted in PM. Not particularly enjoyable but I suppose its something we'll just have to live with now.

So basically this script just automatically bans anyone who says the word that refers to using weights to work out larger? And it doesn't matter if you say it in PM or on the Forums?

Are there other words we should avoid saying?
