I cant seem to get links working

Example here.

I copied and pasted this into the part saying search for a link.

Yet blank pages show up. What am I doing wrong?

@pikahyper: oh sorry, i am using Google Chrome.

@gojira2014: odd, try running chrome with all your extension off, one of them may be messing things up. If not try clearing your cache.

@pikahyper: cleared my Cache of everything and turn off all extensions. Still not working right.

I am doing this right correct?

I highlight the word.

Then I copy and paste the web adress in search for link.

Then click create link right?

@gojira2014: ohhh that, hmm you are being stopped from adding offsite links, same account? New user accounts can't add offsite links, it is a safety measure, it shouldn't be enabled on your account now though since you are at almost 500 posts but if you are using an alt account with a low post count it would make sense.

@pikahyper: This is the only Account I have, but if its a saftey measure, then I will wait. What Post count do I need to look out for?

@gojira2014: I'm actually not sure what the threshold is but it shouldn't have been more then like 25 or 50 posts somewhere in there, every once in a while an account pops up with a higher post count with it turned off and the account needs to be looked at by an engineer. Have you ever been able to see the third box inbetween the other two where you can add a url?

@mrpibb can you please look into this users account to see why the add a url box is missing? thanks.

@pikahyper: No I never found a URL box with the Link options. Just Text to display name and Search for a Link.
