How do you re add someone to a private message?

I find for whatever reason, people seem to accidentally remove themselves from PM's. How do you re add someone?

I think you just call them out and once you hit submit they are added. I don't really know of any other way though. Would you happen to know how to add pictures to a post without saving them and uploading them from your desktop? :)

@blade_r: You just copy and paste, or use the URL.

@blade_r: Just right click them and select copy image URL. Then just add them by pasting the URL.

I can copy and paste the URL and it looks like it works and then nothing shows up for some reason :/

@blade_r: You have to use the insert photo option and use the URL option, the. Place the URL there. Wallah, a photo.

@lukehero: I have no clue what the other people in this thread are talking about but to re-add someone to a PM just look above the editor where it says "Add other users to this conversation" and type the users name and add them, it'll only go through if you also send a message in the PM.

@pikahyper: That doesn't work in any of the PMs i have seen people locked out of.

@pikahyper: When someone removes themselves from a PM you can't add them back in.

@pikahyper: It just doesn't add them, you can go through the steps to add them back in and it doesn't do it.

@dagmar_merrill: has it ever worked for you? I've been able to do it in the past but haven't needed to do it in a long time.

Its been impossible to re-add someone to a PM for quite some time now.

odd, this could be intentional to fight harassment or something.

@pikahyper: If someone is being harassed though they can just contact a mod though. Also can we get a block user button? :)

@lukehero: PM harassment is hard for mods to fight. As for the button no clue, its been requested but implementing new features is not a priority these days.
