Error Uploading Images: Internal Server Error

Can't upload images any more :/ First time I've seen that error but it happens every time now when uploading images from the desktop, started within the last three or so hours (1am'ish PST).

I've had this for a few days but I forgot to post it on BR. I get the same error message whenever I try to upload from the desktop, but uploading via URL still works, so I'm uploading images to imgur and then transferring them here.

@saren: you sure you get the same error message? what browser and operating system? and if it is the same error message are you seeing it immediately after selecting an image or if it gets passed that where in the upload process does it crash?

@pikahyper: Same error message, Chrome, Windows 7. It loads up to 100%, displays the "Saving....please wait" message, and then displays the error message.

@saren: hmm that is at a different point then was happening to me, for me I was getting the error as soon as I selected an image, no progress bar at all and it was being caused by some source code snafu but it was fixed by one of the engineers. At the stage that you are getting to of adding an image it is resizing your original image so that would mean an error in the script that processes things, very odd, is it always the same error message?

Have you tried to see if things work in Internet Explorer or Firefox just to rule out a generalized your computer type problem?

@renchamp: ya I get that every so often with the same "fix" but in that glitch instance a different error message is displayed then "Error Uploading Images: Internal Server Error", usually with what you see the error says something about trying again later, different error messages different bugs, different fixes.

Oh god! I have the same problem :( I have had it since October and it's annoying! >:(

I'm having the same problem now.

This bug was fixed so what is happening to others is a different bug.

If you're having an "image too large" error, can you point me to one of the images that you already uploaded that you're having issues with? Or you can link me to it off-site if you can find it, so I can try it myself.

Ok, this is happening to me again and preventing me from uploading any images to the Queen family page without posting url's. It doesn't work on Firefox either, and it's still the Internal Server Error message.

I'm having a similar problem. Every time I want to add an image, the screen darkens but the add image/URL window doesn't show up. I have to refresh my screen to make the darkness go away, but I haven't been able to upload an image for a week or more.

Any update on this? It makes editing irritatingly hard if I have to keep uploading to a third party site and then pasting urls here.

I have a bug where the site starts with 'Internal Error' when I want to load up an image to a post. Then I look at my own image page and every image I had is gone, they come back later on, but it's still annoying.

@saren: Isn't there someone that you can report this problem to? Tech support or something? (I have the exact same problem as you)

@saren:Something is wrong with my images.Even after uploading many pics the number of pics in my profile is "0".

One more problem. The more images I upload the old ones are disappearing.

@flame_saber: gallery counts are glitched, have been for some time now and it will continue until the gallery system is revamped, it is on the to do list.

Images are physically deleting themselves from your gallery or your count is changing in unexpected ways?

@flame_saber: so they are no longer in your gallery and your not deleting them yourself?

Unfortunately I do not know when the gallery revamp is happening.

@pikahyper: ok, but please try to resolve the problem as fast as you can.I had uploaded many scans for debating purpose, and I also deleted the issues of those scans from my computer.

I no longer have those scans or issues :/

@outside_85: sorry, what is the issue specifically? Images erroring out on upload? or deleted galleries?

The images erroring out only happens for me on this account, it still works on my alts.

@mrpibb: Both, when I try to add an image, either from URL, my desktop or the gallery I have on CV I do what I have to and the image loads 1% before the red bar decends on my screen saying: Internal Server Error and then stops. Then I try and look at my own gallery and I find it empty while it retains the different tags I've been using. I have tried clicking on the tags and found some of the images in there, but I still cant use them due to the first error.

The same problem keeps cropping up for me, could you see if data cleanup would work here?

I haven't been able to upload pictures from my computer for a few months now. Every time I try it reaches 1% and then a red bar with an error message appears. I normally use Chrome and it doesn't work. Also doesn't work on Firefox and IE doesn't even give me the opportunity to try. Any idea what I should do?

I'm also having the Internal Server Error issue. Could someone do that thing for my account too? Haven't been able to upload images in forever.
