Whats the deal with that. Pretty annoying.. of all the places you can post ads.
Ads before replying?
@lowlaville: can you take screenshots please cause that doesn't sound intentional? also including links to where you see them would also be helpful as well the times and your timezone and if possible a description of what the ad is to help narrow it down.
@pikahyper: Happening to me practically everywhere on the forum, above reply or bottom of page. I'm mostly posting on Battle forum but its happening on this forum too.
It appears at the bottom of forum pages. That doesn't really bother me though.

Same thing, ads are before the reply.
@lowlaville: ok that should be plenty of info, I'm not sure when Rorie will be around to check in on this though.

Okay, thanks I guess. I hope this gets fixed. It feels like I'm not logged in or something when I see the ads below the last reply and above the box where I type....
@lowlaville: what browser are you using? you should definitely look into an adblock add on...I have one running and never see ads here

Google Chrome. I do have a script blocker... however that just messes the site by disabling scripts. I want to avoid using an adblock if possible as that slows down the browser.

I haven't noticed any speed decreases at all with mine on Chrome
I'm having the same problem, adds everywhere, even on mobile.
And it just started up pretty recently too.

@danhimself: @lowlaville: please keep any talk about tools that bypass the thing that helps keep this site up and running in a PM.
@pikahyper: No problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.
@emh_bruce: Have you tried manually blocking it with AdBlock? I use it too, and was still seeing the ads, so I used the block an ad on this page option and they've been gone since :)
@emh_bruce: Agh that does not look right at all :O Gonna post this link just in case you need help unblocking that it: https://adblockplus.org/en/faq_troubleshooting
@emh_bruce: Oh wicked, glad it worked out in the end ^_^

I used the block element feature and selected the adds. Worked perfectly.
@mrdecepticonleader: @xnahtebx: @emh_bruce: I already posted about this kind of thing up above guys, this kind of talk needs to be in a PM.
I think this happens to everyone. Happens to me too of course.
But then again adds are what keep the site running and it's commonplace to put them where you are most likely to click.
I think we just have to deal with it, after all not everyone would want the site to require paid subscription.
@claymore1998: yep it's for everyone, I'm guessing they just got more aggressive on their ad placement. I've just been waiting on a staff member to chime in for a definitive answer in case it wasn't intentional.
The ads happened to me as well. I found their placement intrusive and it is my hope they were just a bug rather than a deliberate action. Ads of that size in that location will only drive people to the app that-shall-not-be-named.
@strigidae_23: the app that shall not be named lol. That was pretty funny :)
