Adding Links

So, I have a problem with adding links to a text, when I click the link button on the comicvine editor, this is what happens:

I'm running Google Chrome, and the thing is, when I try to create a link using my older account, the correct option pops up:

So why can't I add a URL on my new account, and it's not just this account, any new alts I have experience the same problem. It's only my old account that works. Anyone know a fix?

@dark-paladin: The URL box doesn't show up for new users, this is a spam prevention method, is it happening for this Dark-Paladin account? cause I don't recall the post threshold being this high.

@pikahyper: Yes, it's happening on this account, do you know what the post threshold is? Probably a hundred.

@dark-paladin: honestly I have no clue, I figured it was the same as the daily post limit threshold but it is obviously higher if it is still happening to your main account.

@pikahyper: This isn't my main, I have another account and it's has much more posts, and linking works. It doesn't face this problem. I guess i'll just wait till I hit one hundred posts and see what happens then.

@dark-paladin: well it is 3am, Rorie will probably be able to tell you what the threshold is in the morning.

Hmm I honestly wasn't aware that we implemented any kind of restriction on this. Maybe @mrpibb might know what the post limit is.

Just an update, i'm at over a hundred posts and still can't use links...

I'm having the same problem. I can't link anything. If there is a post limit, it's pretty high.
