Brian Michael Bendis Will Be a Guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers

For those folks who like staying up a bit later to get their television fix, you're in luck. This Tuesday on Late Night with Seth Meyers, writer Brian Michael Bendis will a guest on the show on Tuesday, January 20th.

Bendis will be promoting the upcoming Playstation Network television series Powers, which he is the executive producer on, and also writing on of the later episodes. This is the first stop for Bendis on the promotional tour for the highly anticipated series.

POWERS, from Marvel imprint Icon, is about Detective Christian Walker, a homicide cop put on cases that involve people with superpowers. The series is written by Bendis and art from Michael Avon Oeming.

Bendis will appear on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday, January 20th at 12:35/11:35C on NBC. Powers is coming soon to Playstation Network.

I know some people will be cynical about this because it's Bendis, but I think it's awesome that a comic book writer is going to be on a late night TV show.

Hmmm....this concerns me, thinking we may get some delays with book release.

I remember Meyers and Hader saying that they were always pushing Lorne Michaels to get Alan Moore on as the musical guess during their time on SNL. If anyone was going to have a comic book writer on his show, of course it would be Seth Meyers.

I remember in their SNL days Seth Meyers and Bill Hader were both featured in Wizard Magazine.....when Wizard magazine was a thing.

@cattlebattle: That Wizard interview is where I read all that. That may have even been the last issue of Wizard I ever bought.

I'm super excited. While I won't get to hear about his other projects, it does expose comics to a wider audience by virtue of him being primarily a comic book writer.
