Brian Michael Bendis Teases Mike Mignola Project

Brian Michael Bendis posted an "exclusive" piece of art on his Tumblr. If you follow his Tumblr feed, you know he's constantly giving out loads of information. But here we have the first look at some Mike Mignola art for an "unannounced project."

Any guesses what this is for? Is Bendis writing something for the Mignola-verse or is Mignola working with Bendis on something altogether? We'll have to wait and see.

Love Mignola and Bendis' stuff is a mixed bag,loved some of his stuff, so looking forward to this.

Judging by that cover, it appears a Kraken has indeed been released.

Is Mignola the guy who created Hellboy? What publisher is this from?

Maybe Abe Sapien? Something to do with undersea either way, it appears.

Is Bendis allowed to work outside of Marvel?

I'd love to see Mignola on a Doctor Strange solo.

I am intrigued.

Mostly really dislike Bendis' work, but his Daredevil was awesome, and working with Mignola, this could be pretty good. Curious to see if this will be Dark Horse or Icon published.
