So what do you think of Beast's new look?

So Young Hank Mccoy manages to stabilize Blue Hank's mutation. The result? He looks like this:

What do you think? I kind of think the face resembles Swamp Thing, but otherwise is pretty cool.

I like it.

He looks like a... beast.

Goddammit... I just knew this was what they were going to do when I heard Hank had mutation problems... It's certainly not enough to keep him from being my favorite character, but I will always prefer him as a lion.

He certainly appears to have increased in size. In strength has yet to be seen. As for the heart attack: His mutation was becoming increasingly unstable. Due to him screwing with his X gene back in the day which gave him the whole blue fur thing, which in turn mutated/devolved into his cat form, his mutant DNA was becoming so unstable as to cause his body to systematically fail. Hence, the heart attack. Now that his younger self has him stabilized, further mutation, devolution, or overall regression, shouldn't be a problem. Nor should his previously displayed health problems.

I shall call him: Beastsquatch. I still miss the simian look, and the feline look was growing on me. By the time I get used to this one, he'll be a damned dragon.

@JonSmith: I think it's important to give beast a new, stronger body every now and again, he's a genius so it shouldn't be hard for him to figure out HOW! He may have started to "Pointy-hair" look, but Wolverine apparently MASTERED it! So he can look like this now if he wants. After all, It MIGHT just turn out to be an IMPROVEMENT!

I like the new look, though.

He looks like a gorilla with cancer.

I kinda like it. I'm glad he has the elf ears.

At first I didn't like it as he just looked completely weird but after looking at again, I actually like it. It's grown on me

I prefer the feline look.

The face is the only thing that bothers me, really.

I just hope those shorts are not his new uniform. I really like the one he's been using latly,the black one with all the gadgets and the red goggles. That would look awesome on this new gorilla Beast.

I wasn't a big fan of the cat look when it first debuted, but it grew on me, and soon enough I was fond of seeing it. I don't hate this new look. However at first glance I like it less than any of his previous looks.@comix christian said:

Absolutely, I loved the geared up mechanic/scientist look he had going on.

He needs hair. Other than that it's alright.

Ehhh i don't hate it, but i don't love it either. I prefer the feline look. Just the face looks ... 'off' to me.

Don't care for it.    It'll probably grow on me like the feline version did but right now it just looks weird.

im interested to see what he looks like in costume, give him the recent black duds with all the gear and he could look pretty cool, rite now the shorts dont do it for me, nor do the jumpers he was wearing when last he was an Xman/ when he rejoined the Avengers

I like this way more then the feline looking beast. I never understood why they made him look like a giant cat anyways.... If he was devolving or whatever than it would only make sense to make him more ape like. one of his problems with his last transformation was his dexterity or something like that (harder time with his apposable thumbs) now that he looks more gorilla like (i actually think he looks more like a sasquach with the head of a bat or something) i hope he is more acrobatic like he used to be rather then just jumping and attacking like a lion. Im curious if they will ever give him a large tail (just mix all the primates together) He Could have all the best attributes each primate

He looks like his alternate Mutant-X version, Brute. Only furry instead of reptilian.

I don't think this will last and I guarantee his body can't take another mutation.

I like it better than the feline look.

I hate it, it's terrible! It's like they crossed him with Crusher Creel! He's a got big friggin cone head.

Please change him back it's awful!

I don't care for this look as much as the feline, and that one wasn't as good as the one before that or the one before that or the one before...(you get what I'm sayin, right?) - it looks sorta evil and dirty, but maybe it's easier to draw than the cat? Who knows why they changed him, but change just for the sake of change is usually not good and I think this falls into that category (as it always has when this character is concerned).

Honestly, human Beast will always be my preferred Beast. I'm a sucker for the big five, and back then Beast actually got to show he is an absolute powerhouse in addition to the most brilliant mind in the X-Men.

This new form needs a hairstyle, perhaps something human-like what he had when he was in his human form, it would be a nice contrast, like Professor Hulk. I don't care so much about looks but his power. I want him to be back to a point where he could wreck Iron Man and instantly heal all of his wounds.

I like it. But i also like his other forms as well.

I just hope that they dont keep remutatIng hIm every ten years

I HATED the feline beast! I actually almost stopped reading any issues he was in in that look. Beast has always been one of my favorite xmen UNTIL the feline look. This current look take some getting used to , but i prefer this than the feline beast. It felt to much like disney's beauty and the beast for me. Also this new look can work depending on what artist draws him.

is beast going back to his blue furred simian look just enhanced and in a bigger body??? amazing xmen annual shows hank now growing his hair and side burns recently like he used to have them when he first turned blue? is this just another inconsistency with an artist drawing him wrongly or is this a marvel decision??? PLEASE LET IT BE HIS LOOK! That blue furred simian beast was always my favorite incarnation of Hank!!!

How can anybody like that feline beast? How can he be an acrobat or an scientist without an opposable thumb? Makes no sense?

Leave him simian like and make him fight more to show off his skills.

And give him a badass suit...

I agree with you I prefer it as a cat beast than I don't like as a monkey I prefer its 90s version but I like the feline one more.

I like their feline version 😡 even the 90s I can tolerate but this is horrible for a monkey and I really don't like it I grew up with the feline from start to finish and what they did doesn't seem very attractive maybe that's not why he appears in the new x men comics in the dark ages they brought him back to his feline version and looks amazing.

I prefer the feline version is the one that most resembles the concept of Beast
