Popeye and Yoda vs Darkseid's elite

Scenario: Darkseid goes on a full scale assault on the Earth.The justice leauge is decimated, and Earth is vernuable. Yoda happens to have a hyperdrive problem, and ends up crashing on Earth. Yoda crashes in a abandoned Sailor town and survives. Yoda then meets Popeye, Yoda had seen a vision that there was evil about to attack earth. After meditating, he and popeye started to prepare for the batlle

Prep for both sides, 1 week

Morals off, bloodlust on

Battle ends in death.

Battle takes place in a forest.

Who wins?

Darkseid solo's easily. REALLY easily. Like, this is a mismatch stomp BS thread, kind of easily.

How does Darkseid solo against Popeye? Yoda can obsorb/reflect Omega beams with the force, Popeye can then beat up Darkseid.

@minigunman123: Did you just say Darkseid could beat Popeye, the man who gave the sun a black eye and blew the top off a lighthouse from miles away using only his lungs(with no spinach i may add). Then you had the audacity to say he could beat Popeye AND Yoda (who i honestly don't know much about, but he has respect on the battle boards.)

Popeye may normally have the physical advantage but Darkseid is clearly smarter than these 2 individuals that cannot even speak proper english despite it being their first language. On the way to the forest Darkseid stops off at a supermarket and buys not just one or two or even three but four, you heard me four entire tins of organic spinach and get this call him crazy but he eats them at the start of the fight instead of getting the crap kicked out of him for a few minutes.

@Dextersinister: Lol, i can't tell if you're serious or not. If you're serious, you do know that Spinach wouldn't work the same way it does on Popeye, and that Yoda wasn't considered a top Jedi Knight(or something of the sort) just because he was one of the most skilled. If you're not serious, then this statement made giggle.

Why must we use toon force characters?

Not only does he solo, but he has his can of spinach and toon force on top of that...

Darkseid beats up Superman, the man who can survive being in blackholes, and can survive a supernova, without much damage if any at all.

The omega effect is much more powerful than Yoda's control over the force. Yoda's awesome, but nobody in Star Wars has shown powers capable of deflecting something as powerful as the omega beams, which is relatively infinite energy, in a one-on-one duel with another person. The most powerful effects of the force are usually fleet destroying, not individual destroying.

Darkseid can do all that and more with his advanced technology and brains... Without being a century-old cartoon that uses the toon force.

@MasterJohn: I don't know who wins, i'm just saying that's what he said. The Elite have numbers, and imho, i think Darkseid by himself would be a decent challenge for the two. I also don't know much about the Elite, but depending on how strong they are, maybe Yoda can at least hold them back as a unit while Popeye attacks Darkseid. Yoda is a master strategist, but then again, so is Darkseid, and he has a tech advantage as well. So i guess i'll say Darkseid and the Elite take this.

Granny goodness is very featless, almost she IS featless. Yoda can probably take her. I'l have to research on the rest of the elite.

@MasterJohn: All i know of Granny is her showings from JLA, and i don't know how well that corresponds with the comics. If Grannie is featless, i want to say that the rest of them are also in the same category, but as i said before, i know nothing about them.

I've watched the Popeye cartoon and anyone from baby's to vehicles have benefitted from the effects of spinach. Not my fault Popeye's a bum who can only afford 2 cans on a good day. Spinach powered Darkseid will be rolling them boys.

The other New gods are a funny bunch they are suppose to be just as powerful as the Earth gods as they are practically the same thing, made in the same way but since they are minions to Darkseid they are normally portrayed as quite weak.

Let's put it this way off screen Granny was able to mimic the form and powers of Athena and took down the entire Greek pantheon from the inside.

I always try to think of it like this, they are given so much prep. it wouldn't take much effort to find out that Popeye is a violent man and whips out a can of spinach every time he goes to town, he leaves plenty of evidence and finally I would most certainly use spinach if it was me in the fight so why wouldn't someone who is suppose to be unnaturally smart have a problem doing the same.

Don't do that man, TF characters add a lot to battle forums, with out them, there would be no Jack, PPG, and other cool characters with a reasonable amount of toonforce.

@Dextersinister: Lol, everything in Popeye that used Spinach as a boost had toonforce, Darkseid does not have that resource at his disposal.

@Soothing_Sounds: I just don't like TF characters. And they're just used so badly ninety percent of the time.
