This is the place for any questions you may have about the battle forum. If you don't get something, post here and someone should be able to help you out. You can also post battle-related comments here. If you want to know what "canon" means, ask here. If you want to talk about who makes the best battle threads, do it here. If you want to know if a fight would be a good one but don't want to just post it, here's the place you can find out. Posting that stuff here keeps the rest of the battle forum free of random threads so everything else should be a fight.

You can use the setup that I think people assume anyway. It's in italics on the rules page.

The only rules I know is don't make a thread that is already been made
Don't post easy fights, Exp aquaman vs beyonder
Don't curse and insult others, Exp Zee crusher
Some others................

Is the Door fair? Its none of the Authorities powers and gives them the advantage of being able to find their opponents via the carrier's tracking abilities. If it is stated from the start sure no problem, but people just seem to put it in their for these characters.

I mean usually when people make a fight with Iron man its just him not him and the hellicarrier, his various satelites and other armour. Or Blackbolt and his whole race of which he is King.

Depends on the thread. Isn't the Door standard? Not just for travel but as an offensive weapon? I've seen Midnighter use it on several occasions as a weapon or implement it into his attack. So if we're going by standard gear and abilities I'd say the Door is more then fair. Unless stated otherwise in the opening.

But I do see quite a few people use Iron Man's ability to use satellites as well as his various armor in battle topics. Black Bolt using The Inhumans is a different circumstance in my opinion. Its not like Midnighter is using Apollo or the other Authority members.

OK, I checked the Battles Forum Rules page and it didn't answer this, so m question is if characters have something like cosmic awareness, does that automatically give them prep time, because I've heard people say that with SS, that he'll know all about his opponent before he or she even attacks, in battles where prep time wasn't included. Is that OK or not?

I think Prep time also includes planning out an attack, gathering resources and tools and, well, preparing. Cosmic Awareness gives a combatant an advantage over someone who doesn't have it, but I do not think it should be counted as prep time.
