I swear I posted on this, apparently not, here's what I said before though:

Avatar team. Fire Todoroki has almost no feats, and the team won't get frozen easily. He's stronger than either individually, but his flame half doesn't have the feats to do much, and the while the ice half is stronger, that alone isn't enough IMO.

@kelvinator: It blew him out of the ring, but that's also all it's done. We can't really say much else about it other than, "It shoots strong flames". Until we see him actually fight with it more often, we won't be able to say a whole lot. It's likely very powerful since it's Endeavor's quirk and Endeavor is #2, but we just don't have nay feats for the fire side other than it clashing with Midoriya

Going with Avatar team one on one he wins due to pure power, but 2 is too much he is still affected by flame and getting frozen, his quirks offsets that a bit.

Without blood bending I would back Todoroki, he would stomp either one in a solo fight though.

Todoroki takes it. Katara nor Zuko have the fire rate or raw power to counter his Ice Ridge fast enough.

After giving this a lot of thought, The team wins this with mid difficulty. I realized that all shoto really does is create ice and fire. His ice being more dangerous and faster than his flames but thats about it. He can't control it after it's created. As far as The team is concerned, Shoto is basically just making weapons for them.

Zuko can bend the fire on his body if he's covered his body with it. Katara will have plenty of water to use from the ice and she can also bend the ice directly. Also, so long as benders are prepared, any competent bender is usually not phased by attacks from their own elements ie zuko shouldn't be hurt by flames and katara should be able to avoid getting hit by ice.

With this in mind the team should win with mid difficulty

Katara can solo , but not sure if she can if morals on.

Zuko and Katara wins unless Todorki uses his hottest flames that will kill them, if he doesn’t everything he sends out gets bended away considering his control over the two element are kinda bad.

I don't think they have the offensive capability needed to win this. Give Zuko Sozin's Comet and Katara a Full Moon then they win.

As long as they can keep up in speed, duo should be able to take him eventually. Katara can match/counter his scale and even just use the ice Shoto creates against him. Zuko will act as the aggressor to protect Katara and has Lightning to keep him at bay too

Why are we still pretending like Shoto isn’t way beyond their level? The stuff Shoto does surpassed stuff aang can even do without avatar state and sometimes with it.

Not to mention, avatar characters are slow as hell

Lol a duo winning 🤣. Todoroki oneshot the verse mid diff. Team Avatar lack speed advantage, they don't have Ap advantage, todoroki resist their element by just existing.

Todoroki with ice wouldn't even be a fair fight for these 2 given zuko would practically be warming up shoto and katara would get frozen instantly.

Not seeing any practical situation where duo have a chance against shoto.

This thread was made at a time were Shoto was much weaker, slower and had very little control about his fire side. I guess the Benders could have one back then. Today, there is no chance though.

Ain't no way people still think this is debatable lollllll. Zuko's fire is too weak since Shoto was able to tank one from a stronger user, his brother. Or he just hits them with on of these.

How? Seems like a mismatch to me. Todoroki is way stronger than he was.

Even Anime Shouto wins this. He scales to Geten who can fill multi city block with ice and raise it extremely fast.

can she neg ice that hits her at mach speed? Also he still has fire and can psuedo-fly

As for fire not only can she block with the resulting water/ice but she also has zuko

Can she deal with that much? Shouto could freeze burning city blocks instantly. And he could instantly freeze large building sized areas instantly even in early series. As far as i remember the rate he can generate it is quite a bit above the rate karata can get rid of it. There is also his fire which too should be too much.

Shoto can just keep freezing though and at a rate faster than she can get rid of it so she should remain stuck.
