Zoom vs Thanos

Fight takes place in a lifeless galaxy, Pre-Annihilation Thanos and Zoom fight to the death. If Zoom proves too much, I'll include the time gem.

How is Zoom supposed to get place to place in a lifeless Galaxy? 
Strike that how the heck is he supposed to breath or prevent himself from imploding in open space?  
Scratch that HOW THE HECK CAN ZOOM WIN A FIGHT TO THE DEATH WITH A GUY THAT CAN'T DIE?

the time gem will be too easy for thanos... just give thanos nothing lol

Since Thanos is immortal, Zoom just knocks Thanos out in like 3 seconds. But if Thanos has the time gem, I guess he'd win since he'd have complete control over time everywhere in the universe.
 
EDIT: Didn't see that it's a fight to the death. In that case, Zoom can't win at all unless Thanos isn't immortal in this fight.

This whole battle doesn't make any sense...

Thanos doesn't need anything to win. He puts up his shields which can take blasts from an enraged well-fed Galactus and then releases an omni-directional blast to finish Zoom off.

Zoom.

..Wha? In a lifeless galaxy, you know Zoom cannot fly nor travel in space correct?

Zoom wins.

Zoom wins.
