How's that relevant? You could argue that the blast isnt as fast as Zoom, but the impressive feat there is how he transforms a mad celestial blast made to kill him, a classified above-omega level mutant by the very beings trying to kill him, into flowers - subconsciously, not the "shield" (if it was a shield anyway).
My point being that he wasn't even aware that the Celestials were going to hurt him (regardless of shields up or down), the point is that due to his mutant power something like a blast will be turned into flowers or something else that is completely harmless even if he can't react or be aware of whatever it is.
Gentlemen, I don't think either of you realize how fast Zoom II is.
The fact that Franklin does not have auto shields means everything. Don't get me wrong, Celestials are more powerful than Hunter Zolomon. I don't think anyone here will debate that.
The problem lies in the fact that Hunter Zolomon is one of the fastest characters in all of comics. Period. He is faster than Wally West. If, in your time here on the Vine, you don't know who Wally West is, I suggest you take a quick peak at his bio on this web site. Suffice to say, Zolomon is even faster than Wally.
Translation? Zolomon decks Franklin before Franklin realizes he has even been hit. In no way, shape or form is this an even contest. Top feats for Zoom have him covering every inch of the earth in a fight with Wally West.
In under 1 second. Each blow traded between the two was knocking the other opponent a 1000 miles in a shot.
While Franklin's feat above is impressive, it is ENTIRELY relevant that Franklin can't even react before he is dead.
In most scenarios, speed kills in a battle forum debate. Rule number one. I'm betting Franklin can't react to Zolomon before Zolomon turns little Franklin's brain into atoms with a shot moving at billions of times the speed of light. In this fight, it's not a matter of who is more powerful, but it's a matter of powerset.
