I used to think this was a double kayo but after thinking about it, Darkseid's omega beams have been blocked dozens of times, often by other characters jumping in the way of them.
Zoom can kill Darkseid before he even moves and if he is lucky enough to fire him omega beams? Zoom just tosses something else in the way.

Let me get this straight now. The most powerful Villian in the DCU has a loss to liberty bell and Wonder Woman and also will die if shot in the head at close range LOL. Boy this statement explain a whole lot.

But it would be hard to pull off any attack against someone who is attacking you outside of time itself... this aint like Superman or Wonder Woman speed blitzing DS... with Zoom's Time Manipulation abilities he could attack DS before he even thought to use an attack in the first place...
Yeah, he could, he could also be ruling the DCU by everyone elses acounts of his power and speed, but he isn't! Fact of the matter is, as good and powerfull he is, he isn't all that and above gods and deities, otherwise he would be a skyfather himself and invincible enough to become unstopable, but he isn't, is he!

Good Point... but in theory Zoom's should be able to attack Darkseid before he could react... unless DS Omega Beams could hit Zoom while within the battle itself which could be possible

zoom has no ambition to. he wants to make heroes better at what they do. true if that meant taking over the world to do it im sure he would try. he's not a norm villain in fact he would make a better hero.

That's my whole point, he has so many more abilities outside of TK/TP (and there not even his abstract powers) And I know Zooms character, know he's not you typical villian, ie money or rule the world type villain, but he's still far from all powerfull or invincible! Brain over brawn, lucky beings like DS & Superman have both :-)

Well, as far as I know, the OB/OE aren't based on speed! I believe they>Zoom in every aspect! A powersource than can bend time/space, disintergrate, annihilate, transport! Yeah, I think they'd do wonders for Zoom and show him where he stands against someone like DS! P.S. where was he during FC? Not stopping DS, that's for sure :-)

I doubt he could hit him with OB, since Flash was seen outrunning them before, but I agree that Darkseid can just screw around with time. Darkseid's time manipulation is far greater than Zoom's.

I believe you are wrong. Considering he's tried to hit superman only to have Wonder Woman or Supergirl step in the way of the blast, its obvious that a fast enough person can effect them. Considering Zoom could run around the globe eight times before either Supergirl or Wonder Woman can blink, I'd say he has little to fear from the comparative snail like omega beams, and that's if Zoom doesn't just kill Darkseid before he uses them.

But the Omega beams are just one medium of his power. He is perfectly able of doing things without them. He once bent time around Dessad in order for him to age years in a matter of hours, and he did it without any beams. Hell, his very presence ripped through time and space around Earth in Final Crisis. He was seen creating impenetrable shields of omega energy without beams. I think Darkseid can screw around with time far better than Zoom can.
That's if he survives the first nanosecond of the fight.
