Who would win in a war between powerful monsters from yugioh and digimon (ex. egyptian god cards, exodia, 5 headed dragon, omnimon, imperialdramon, susanoomon.) Battles takes place on a level playing field and are to death/deletion. This is the ultimate battle between magic and science!

I'm just gonna repeat again, it's clear that Exodia can solo and Horakhty can solo. They both have infinite atk and def. The only creatures that could beat Exodia or Horakthy is ANOTHER monster with infinite atk and def and from what I know there is no digimon with infinite atk and def...not even Zeedmillenniummon or Shoutmon X7 Superior Mode. Exodia is immortal too in official accounts.

I mean I only know maybe 10 monsters off the top of my head from Yugioh and maybe 5 from Digimon. So if I'm missing something here....

Digimon are easier to summon than God cards since Digimon are already there but God Cards need a duel to be started before they can be summoned.

Assuming the God cards are already out I don't think they have any effect on the world but Digimon have the same power in the digital and real world.

@callmeblast:True, But Most cards never did anything outside of a duel other Monsters cards have destroyed cities and cause eclipses and other weird things especially Zexal but Digimon have done the same and more some Digimon are universal and maybe beyond not saying yugioh cards are less powerful but according to lore with cards often remove from effects and only expect in the shows. So on less, there is a Universe eating card in Arc V or so where I don't know about Digimon have a higher chance to win.

I use that, then summon a monster and one shot kill the Digimon trainer.

@callmeblast: OP says monster. I assume Spell and Traps are not allowed and there are monsters that negate the effect of spells,trap even other monster effects. Beside pretty sure spell and trap card don't work on people on less are special imbued with magic like the seal of orichalcos same with monsters and traps.

Also, the Tamer could just summon more they're digital.

As much as I hate to say it, YGO doesn't have anything that can top ZeedMillenniummon, honestly. As it stands, the Numeron Dragon is the most powerful Duel Monster ever, and it's feats/hype, pales in comparison.

The OP say Monsters(Who would win in a war between powerful monsters from yugioh and digimon) and spell and trap card will not work on a Digimon or I could say they suck everything into a computer or If it was Pokemon I could use a Pokeball on everything which is no possible. Also not all cards ancient monsters some are man made and can't be summoned to the real world and same goes for spells and traps.

the battle needs to be lore based only way to make it fair.

@deronn_solo: all of 5Ds is about the spirit world monster come from, OG Yugioh Pegasus said it himself he copied some of the design of the monster from an Egyptian tomb and the card like Toon Wolrd are not real. GX show Yubei and Neo space cards who talk to them and Light and Darkness Dragon who has the power to fix the game much like other cards and Zexal is the biggest one with the power of Space Aliens in the card who mind controlled the people who find them.

Just look at The Seal of Orichalcos able to took people's souls if they lose the duel or hell in GX Chumley become a card designer and made this

Super Fusion could fuse all 12 Dimensions in the Universe. And that is not the most powerful card ever. I think YGO should win. Still not sure. Didn't watch or play YGO for 10 years.

But are only unbeatable in the game their real forms are not as powerful as you think Zexal and 5Ds have monsters that can destroy planets and Numreon Dragon created the universe but a lot of Digimon are equal or greater in power.

With Digi-Fusion and Gaiamon,Shakomon,Zeedmillenniummon,Fanglongmon and Shoutmon who was not at full power cause there were evil Digimon and Digimon who were eggs at the time.
