Your Team vs the Multiversal Zombie Apocalypse

You have recently received word that a zombie virus is spreading throughout the multiverse (affects animals as well) and will take effect soon. However you've also stumbled upon a mystical artifact that allows you to call on ten fictional characters to help you survive the apocalypse. The artifact (coincidentally) has a manual that details the rules of how it works.

Rule 1: You cannot call on characters with the ability to alter reality on a large scale. If you do, they become only able to perform localized minimal reality alteration for a short period of time. If they have artifacts that grant reality warping, these are toned down in a similar fashion.

Rule 2: You have 10 roles to fill. You must have a different character in each role, and they will be pre-programmed to have a desire to perform the duties of this role. They can take up other tasks, but will be largely uninterested in other roles for the long run. These roles are as follows: Leader, Brawler, Weapons Expert, Supplies, Craftsman, Tactician, Medic, Vehicles, Animal (Must be an an actual animal of some sort), and Meat Shield/Fodder

Rule 3: The stronger your team, the stronger the zombies. The mystical artifact leaks magic energy from the characters you summon and ALL zombies become 10% as powerful (strength, speed, durability, physical attributes) as each character you summon. This adds up. So if you summon Batman then Superman, the zombies will gain 10% of Batman's physical attributes and 10% of Superman's physical attributes. This includes characters who can augment physical abilities. In this case, the zombies gain 10% of them at their maximum power. This also means that enough zombies can hurt all characters you summon.

Rule 4: Immortality is taken away, so all characters can die. However healing factors are left untouched, except for ones that would otherwise grant essential immortality. For these characters, their healing factors are toned down a bit, to where decapitation is always lethal.

Rule 5: Zombies will not attack you (or any non-characters with you) as long as one of your characters lives. This rule fails if they cannot attack your characters for whatever reason

Rule 6: Zombification does not affect your characters

Rule 7: You cannot create your own characters or have other people create them for you. You cannot modify a character's abilities in any way or use a character that has been made with powers from your specifications

Rule 8: Zombie repellant type abilities are nullified. Zombies can and will come after your characters. Through any means necessary.

Rule 9: You cannot gain powers, alter your abilities, or perform superhuman feats of any kind. No equipment can bestow powers upon you. The fighting is meant to be done by your team, not you.

i will pick ten fictional humans.

all i have to do is to place them near me... and the zombies wont attack them.

1. the zombies cannot attack them because they are near me hence they will survive

2. since they will survive i will also survive and any humans nears me because the zombie cannot attack me as long as they are alive

Leader: I will take this place myself. I am not bound by the logic of having to tell a story, follow my plan, shut up, and we will live.

Weapons Expert: Bullseye, nice normal human so no bonus to the zombies.

Craftsman: Madison Jeffries, he can literally craft anything we could ever want in seconds from scrap, also normal human physicals.

Supplies: Normal Poison Ivy, she can sit around and love the fact that plants are not zombies and will feed us. Also human physicals.

Tactician: Cypher, all his plans should work perfectly, it is not like the zombies are going to be outsmarting us anyway.

Medic: Whoever. I do not see us getting hurt. I will take my wife just to have someone else there, she is a therapist so that is medic like.

Vehicles: Razorback... Yeah you heard me, Mort of the Month, Razorback.

Animal: My cats Eddie, Pumpkin, and Onyx. Honesltly I would throw everyone else but my wife to the zombies to protect them.

Meat Shield: Tom Rothman, just because I want to see him eaten by zombies.

1. Mags stripped Wolvies adamantium and turn it into an adamantium block.

2. Atom shrink and hide inside the adamantium block

3. Magneto will activate his magnetic shield

4. Clock King will lock the entire team into a time stasis that equates 1 sec per trillions of years... with the Time Slowing device inside the stasis.

Since magneto is locked in the time stasis his magnetic shield will last for trillions of years.

any zombies that happens to penetrate the magnetos shield will also then be locked inside the time stasis.

after trillions of years, any zombies that reached the adamantium block must have the sufficient strength to break the adamantium block in order to get atom that is if the zombies can find him when he is in his subatomic state

technically the zombies can still attack my team but it will take them trillions of years

@misterwhisper: Not that your list is bad, it's probably the best on here so far (Love the explanations) but you don't have to put your loved ones as your team. You, and any other non-summoned humans that are with you are to be protected by the team you choose. Not that you can't use yourself and those you know, just you don't have to in order for them to be "saved".

all other else are inside the stasis.

The Illuminati with the Infinity Gems. I combine the zombies in the Infinity Gauntlet, and snap them out of reality.

@mimisalome: Then they will get killed, then be left with the Atom, which they can't attack, then they'll kill you. Time stasis only prolongs the inevitable in this case :P

@mimisalome In that case, the zombies pile up around your characters, and eventually can't get in due to the massive amount of zombies blocking the entrance to the stasis field, and thus are unable to attack your characters, and kill you first.

@misterwhisper: But your team lacks combat strength to fight off a planet of zombies (at minimum)., doesn't it? Don't forget animals are zombified here too.

so the conclusion is the zombie attack is happening
