With one month prep couldn't they get the dragon balls..? Master Roshi during Dragonball was also pretty fast(I recall him and Krillin having a fight in 5 seconds and then having to explain to the audience what happened), not to mention a master of martial arts. Bulma, at least future Trunks reality Bulma, has made a time machine from the parts she managed to scavenge. They could go back in time and kill them while they were babies. Also, didn't Korin badly out-pace Kid Goku?

Dude Popo and kami have ancient and unknown training, with mystic techniques, not to mention he's a 'genie' (it was the back up because it was a raiscist stereotype.

Z Allies crush. Master Roshi has blown up the moon. One morals off kamehameha from him at max power and they're all dead. Not to mention Kami was about as strong as King Piccolo and Mr. Popo is ridiculously fast himself. Korin really doesn't have any feats that put him on the level of dealing with well anyone really. I guess he can bring a giant bag of senzu beans or give them all the sacred water or something.
