You vs Racob

I am 15 years old, I am of average size and strength, I have above average reaction speed and focus but blow average tolerance for pain, I am not a very good brawler but I am a talented swordsman and very creative in combat, I don't have to be completely focused on my opponent to fight, which allows me to multitask. I can also allow myself to enter a berserker-like state where I lose control and awareness of my actions, but only as a last resort.

I have a Vibranium sword and gloves that cannot be cut. (the gloves let me halfsword)

I have five minutes to warm up and meditate.

You have one edged, pointed, or blunt mele weapon and any gear necessary for using it properly. You have two minutes to familiarize yourself with the weapon if you are not already familiar with using it.

Prognosis: Block incoming strike that you will swing, counter with body hook to ribs for stun, sidestep lunge and hurl shield at gut. You are stunned. Follow with close to face. Tackle. Wrestle gloves away. Straddle on top. Follow with jab and jab and cross to face. Concussion ensues. Winner IronShinobi. Recovery time for you: 3 weeks. Psychological recovery for you: 2 months.

@racob7: I'd rush forward and hit you with it in the ankle as soon as the five minutes is up. You'd most likely fall in pain. I kick you when you're down multiple times, to be sure.

I beat you using Ascalon from Ben 10.

I use a spear.

@dagmar_merrill: I slip my leg back as you strike at it, dodging your attack and moving out of range. I also lean forward slightly and bring my sword down on your neck or arms as I step back, ending the fight.

@black_arrow: I deflect your first thrust, step forward, grab your weapon, and repeatedly strike you until you drop dead at my feet.

I put up my hands and say "please don't hurt me, I'm a man of god, a pacifist" and put on my best baby face. You proceed to say, "ahh, I won't hurt you" and drop you guard. I quickly kick you in the balls, do it again, and again, and again, and again, and again... And again. Pretty much until your on the floor crying in pain. Then I grab a shiv out my back pocket and stab you like a madman.

In case you didn’t know, this site was made for comics. It would follow that the majority of fights should be comic related. This isn’t to say that only comic fights are allowed and all others will be locked, but keep in mind what most of us are here for. Also, keep silly battles to a minimum - Aunt May vs. Odin is fun once in a while, but gets tiring if overused. Your battle must at least have one comic character or character who has been in a comic in order for it to be considered a battle, If it is Will Smith Vs DR Dre this should be in the off topic section and not in the battle forums.

@racob7: you heard of ball jitsu? I can stop you from having kids in fifty different ways my friend, say fair well to your dormant children.

The vast amount of protein that I consume on an hourly basis make me invulnerable to any sort of harm, and my insane bench-press allows me to strike with the force of 10 tons.

No...they didn't.

You can have for example:

A comic book character vs a Movie Character, a MMA Champion, your dad...etc. That isn't an only comics fight. It just has to have one comic book character.

Make Sure It Is a Battle

The battle forum is for actual fights between characters. Things like 'who has the coolest power' or 'who gets the most chicks' ARE NOT BATTLES. Just because you put 'vs' in the title, does not automatically make it battle forum worthy. They should be placed in general discussion or in off-topic (depending on what they're about). As well, fights with characters who are not comic book or manga characters or haven't featured predominantly in comic books or manga (Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris, Barney Stinson vs Joey Tribbian etc) do not belong in the battle forum, either.

This has been discussed between the battle forum mods a bit. These are guidelines for what does and does not constitute a battle.

• Who Can Beat _____? - These are not battles and should be placed in that characters forum from this point forward. If they aren't and a mod notices, they'll be moved.
• Power vs Power - Things like Optic Blast vs Heat Vision are not battles and will be moved to the appropriate forum from now on.
• Item vs Item - Things like Mjolnir vs Captain America's Shield are not battles and will be moved to the appropriate forum from now on.

No it isn't. Just because one person breaks the rules it doesn't mean everyone else should as well.

I block your sword with the shield, and overpower you with ease since you're 15. hen when you're disarmed, overpowered, and on the floor, I stomp you out. No lie.

@darkraiden: I let go of the sword with one hand and leave the other on the pommel, striking at your lower leg from a distance. You are taken by surprise as the attack is quite swift and you thought I was completely out of range. I take advantage your confusion and make short work of you 6/10 times.

@darkraiden: Btw, if you think you can block that attack you're wrong. It works on even experienced masters if they've never seen it before or aren't expecting it. That move is so cheap it's banned in most tournaments.
