Yeah but the difference is that Superman can get to light speed within a minutes. While MM can probably do it.

Martian Manhunter at least has flown D'kay to the sun, which indicates he can accelerate to FTL speeds in under a minute

I agreed with you bro... If you're smart about conserving your energy and letting the environment do the work for you, its entirely possible to take out that many small children with relative ease. I even posted on how I would go about eliminating those abominations
