That is where I stop with this discussion. I am talking about the Volturi from Breaking Dawn that just came out.

Here's my argument for the volturi (even though you know completely nothing about them).

1. Their speed is speed of vampires (they are the head of vampires and keeper of law). I'm positive you know a Vampire can speed before someone can breathe. Yoda has created afterimages due to his speed in battles..

One of the Volturi can kill someone by looking at them, it makes them drop to the floor feeling pain in their heart until another Volturi pulls their head off.

Another has black fog that can take away vision and consume someone, I'm sure Yoda can resist it, but I'm not sure.

In the end this battle comes down to speed...Vampires are incredibly fast, Yoda is fast. Plus, this is bloodlust....Vampires could run around the entire globe if they are bloodlusted.

I do not know who wins or loses, all I know is speed is the prime factor, and for anyone who has seen/read twilight, you know Vampires can go very fast.

Try commenting on battles that you actually know about, please?

As such, I do have knowledge on the Volturi, so don't say I know nothing about them.

• Yoda's perceptions can easily keep up with the vampires, and he certainly has the speed to keep up with them(and arguably, outpace them).
• He also has the strength to compete with them.
• That one is named Jane, I believe. And no, it doesn't make them feel pain. It's a psychic power that makes you think you feel pain. (That's the reason it doesn't work on Bella). Yoda has training to resist telepathy, and also has (arguably) superior telepathy.
• I don't remember that one. I'll re-read the book and get back to you on the effectiveness of that power. But Yoda - as fast as he is - shouldn't have too much of a problem with it.
• It also comes down to ranged attacks, which is where Yoda has them incredibly outclassed, with his telekinesis.
• Speed is not the only 'prime factor'. Speed don't mean buggery hell when your opponent can toss you for yards with his mind before you can even get close.
• And then Yoda has his lightsaber, which will cut through the Volturi's skin.

Don't be condescending. I choose battles that I do know about. I have read the books (all 4 of the books), and therefore, I'm actually using the primary canonical source.

If Yada lifts them all into the air which he could to with complete an utter ease, they are screwed beyond reason. They could do nothing. With Two hours of prep, the Grand Master of the Jedi Order would easily develop a way to counter/avoid/nullify dakota fanning ability. That is the only danger he would have to face.

You say speed is the biggest factor and that is where you are wrong. It's not. It's abilities. Several joke characters with a single ability verse one character with an extremely vast array of things he can do.

Much like dakota fanning can look at you can cause you pain, Yoda could look at her and crush her head, sling her into the hair, or simply shut her eyes.

Like really. You said to the other guy not to comment if he didn't know, but do you really understand how powerful Yoda is. If he closed the eye Jane and her bother, they would instantly become malee attackers. And they are stated to be the most powerful weapons that the Voltrui have.

Without them, it's just a bunch of fast strong things running around. And not a single one of them has a counter for the Lightsaber. Not one. If any of them steps into range of it, they are finished. Especially since it is a weapon that causes burning. I.E. They major weakness of these types of creatures.

Answer me this, if yoda closes both Jane and Alec's eyes and lefts the entire group into the air (which if you know about Yoda, you'd know this would require very little of his real power) what manner would they have to counter him? What exactly could they do to prevent him from slaying them with his lightsaber?

Here's my entire point: They can avoid his saber if they want to. Have you seen Twilight? I imagine you have, which brings in my argument: Speed is the biggest factor. They can avoid Yoda's saber with their speed... I know very well about Yoda's speed feats, don't get me wrong, but I also know very well about the Volturi's speed feats. At the end of the volturi battle, when they learned of their future, they quickly zoomed away from the battle field. They were like ghosts, there and then not there.

Slideslash has been a regular on my threads, and he really knows nothing about the battles I am speaking of, neither does a few other regulars. KI've seen the respect thread, AND I have read some of the novels with my own eyes. I know how powerful Yoda is, and I do not underestimate it. Also, what eye of jane and her*Brother* Malee? You mean melee?

Who's to say theyll actually get close to it If Yoda can take out those you mentioned (which is a test against speed) then I agree, the odds are against the Volturi...

How will he close their eyes? Show me the feats please....Lift the entire group in the air..Very funny, because in the voultri battle, the girl 9forgot her name) punched the Volturi leader across the air, AND ALL he did is land safely on his feet and catch his balance. That's what the volturi would do if Yoda switched to that tactic. So I just asked your question, what manner.

As soon as Yoda strikes down 1 or 2, the rest get back on the move with speed and try to strike him

So speed doesn't matter? I'm adding a new rule then, no speed or aid from the force in any type of Speed for yoda, and no speed for Volturi....

I consider actually having a lightsaber to be a boon, he has a weapon that should ignore their durability ;).
