Yoda rape
That language isn't necessary.

A spite is an intentional mismatch. Are you sure this is intentional? I know the OP has a possibly habit for intentionals, so this could very well be spite.

How is the word rape any worse than "Murder Stomp" or "Sluaghters so and so". I understand why it might upset someone but words that are just as bad or worse are used on this forum constantly and no one hassles them for it.

In fairness, that word is far more likely to be a trigger than the word murder.
@Baldy: Thats the part that makes no sense, "Murder" and "Rape" are two acts that in my opinion are just as bad as one another. If one is allowed and the other isnt, im sorry im going to use it as I like.

That's a great attitude to have, I'm sure it'll get you far in life. The reason that one is more of a trigger than the other is simple; people who get murdered tend not to care if the subject is mentioned. You clearly have never dealt with people that have difficult backgrounds.

Pure Ignorance. Just like rape, when someone is murdered, they are not the only victim. If a close loved one is murdered im sure that person that lost them would not appreciate that word being thrown around to describe a forum battle. Same goes for a rape victim, if you mention it, it will probably make them feel extremely uncomfortable. To outlaw one and not the other is just plain hypocritical.

You can't trigger people who have been murdered but you can trigger people who have been raped.
@TaliciaDragonsong: Your right, but you can certainly trigger people who's close loved ones have been murdered.
@RingSlinger: Yup, so both words have to be used carefully in my opinion, although things can become shaky to manage when it comes to videogames or even a battle like this. A word like rape is a step too far however, like that whole fighting game thing a while back, and just has no real connection to a victory or anything.

Words have power and were created for a reason. In both cases, used offensively, those words a) add nothing to the debate b) are injurious. Behaving like a gentleman on the Internet won't harm anyone, it will only force everyone into being polite, even if behind the mask of an avatar. A gentleman costs nothing. The only price to pay here is to show that you answered a post after thinking about it, as opposite to only with testosterone and anger.

You are far more likely to trigger someone who has experienced something first hand, than someone who is living with a pain caused by an event that they did not witness. I think you should also consider that it is the most common crime against women.
Are both words acceptable? Possibly not. But then context has to be taken into account. These battles are often a fight to the death, and as such words like murder or suggesting that one party may be killed is far more acceptable in context than sexual assault, which has no place in any of these discussions.
Furthermore suggesting that you will continue to use terms that have no place in the discussion and that you know can harm someone emotionally, just because you feel like it and because you feel validated due to the fact that other controversial terms are not restricted is frankly the most insensitive thing I've heard on these boards for quite some time.
Seriously. Spend some time living and working with people that are dealing with issues like these and gain some perspective on their pain before you dismiss it as being inconvenient for you.
If you guys want to do something productive, then some here.
