The fight takes place in a deserted Jedi Temple. This is "Expanded Universe" Yoda vs standard Jean Grey (i.e. no Phoenix Force). Both characters are bloodlusted. Fight is to the death.  
Who wins?

Personally, I'm backing Jean for the win. Even without the PF, she's an Omega-level mutant. I do not recall seeing Yoda perform any feats of telepathy or telekinesis that even come close to Jean's.

I haven't read any of the Expanded Universe stuff. Most likely he is, there are other users here who are a lot more into Stars Wars.

Every Jedi Knight and some Padawan learners have access to telepathic abilities... Yoda can levitate and throw objects as large as a tanker.

Having access to the abilities does not mean you are going to be taking down someone who has their entire power based around them. Yoda also did that stuff with difficulty.

Even my sisters (liked Star Wars, but aren't considered nerds at all) are aware of the limitations of a Jedi's hypnosis.  
IT ONLY WORKS ON THE WEAK-MINDED. 
Did you somehow forget that part of it? It was very specifically stated at least twice in the movies. 
Jean, being one of the most powerful telepaths in comicdom, does not exactly count as weak-minded.
