YJ's Team Tourney

Hello guys, today I'm starting a new team tourney which will be a mix of 2 different types of tourneys, which are the classic traditional make a team and compete tourneys and the point style tourneys.

How this will work is that I will list 16 different teams, first you will pick a team, then I will list the characters. You will have 250 points to spend on choosing characters for your team and the things their gear, but another thing you will spend your points on are things for your team itself, such as vehicles, bases, etc.

Simple right?

Rules

• You can have a maximum of 5 characters on your team for balancing purposes and a minimum of 2 characters for a team.
• While you can buy multiple of an item (Such as a Batmobile), you cannot buy multiple of a character.
• Each match will have prep (Different amount of times), whether you have resources for doing something useful with it is determined by how you spend your points.
• Don't expect to get characters like Flash and instantly speedblitz or choose Charles Xavier and have the answer be to mindr*pe, there are no insta-wins.
• All DC characters are pre-new 52 unless they aren't applicable.
• The only battle specific rules I'll give out is that teammates will work together, but things like morals, bloodlust, etc. will be match specific.
• All characters will have standard gear (So don't worry about buying Batman batarangs. lol), although you can buy additional things that they don't have very often.
• Keep in mind that in some matches there will be twists, such as zero gravity, no powers, etc.
• Let me state this now, you can buy another team's base, device, etc. Unless you have someone on your team that has used it or has been there for a long period of time. This means, just because you have The X-Men doesn't mean that you can buy the Avengers Mansion and completely understand it if you didn't buy a former Avenger, like Beast. This also obviously means that if you are a Marvel character, you won't know about the other universe at all, and vice versa.
• Replacement members last throughout the entire tourney, so choose wisely.
• One last rule, the only thing you have to buy are characters, vehicles, replacements,and gadgets aren't required.

Replacement Members

These are people that can replace a character on your team (which much be specified when bought) when they can no longer participate or they can be tagged in at the start of the battle until a death occurs on the other team, in which they will be tagged out and cannot be used again for the rest of the round.

@youngjustice: Cool, there's one thing I didn't understand; how do you determine how much prep time you get? Do you have to pay per hour or does each match have a certain specific amount of given time?

@tomlikesfries: Each match will be alloted a different amount of prep time. Some might be as little as five minuets to as much as 2 months. I really want the element of picking a team wisely to shine here.
