I'd say it depends on whether or not Yugi can turn it into a shadow game in which case I say he'd win.
I think the batman has a chance but even if it's a normal chess match Yami Yugi probably takes it as he is basically a god when it comes to games. Not to mention he'd pull off some heart of the cards hax if he was starting to lose.
Bottom line is the Batman is the better strategist but when it comes to playing games of any kind Yami Yugi is near impossible to beat.

Atem is the king of games (Atem is Yami Yugi's real name). And his ability to win games isn't limited to card games as he has won a variety of games the majority of which were actually rigged against him. So as good a strategist Batman is he's not going to win. Not to mention Atem literally has a haxs ability that divinely makes things go his way.
You cant beat king of games even if u give bats 10 years of prep Atem will crush him with some heart of the cards hax luck or beliving in friendship which actually on some retarded way strenghtens his spirit...
