This. He could MAYBE beat him if he used the Senzu mid-round.

You think? Hm. You could be right. Yamcha did get trounced pretty thoroughly.

Cell Jr slaughters.

He was able to beat a Saibamen so he should beat everyone up to Cell Jr (unless Yamcha lets his guard down and lets it kamikaze again).

His only real "feats" afterwards is getting Heil Hitler'd by Dr. Gero, and getting his arm broken while being unable to defeat a Cell Jr.

If we include anime filler though, Yamcha one shots everyone including Gohan due to owning Olibu with ease.

Anyways he stops at the Cell Jr after stomping the sh*t out of everyone in the previous round at the same time. Hell he easily had the Saibaman beat before it went Kamikaze on him but people will forget that all for the sake of an overused joke. Sigh...

As did Super Vegeta and Super Trunks.

The first four rounds are near effortless wins. The Cell Jr could beat him, but if he uses the Senzu mid round he could possibly pull off a win...kinda doubtful though. He would lose almost instantly against Gohan, the same Gohan that one shot Frieza in the movie Fusion Reborn.

Stomps his way to Cell Jr, uses the senzu bean then uses his most famous technique...dying

He rofl stomps everyone, then gets stomped in turn by the cell Jr.

Poor Yamcha.

Yamcha's filler feats are always so hilariously op. Beating Recoom imediately after Recoom slaughtered Vegita. Beating Olibu....what were they thinking? Hah

and people wonder why i frown on people using filler in alot of dbz debates? and even when people do, they link to english dub. which is even worse in terms of getting the manga power levels and rules wrong.

I think it's like that for everyone. IIRC Krillin surviving an onslaught from Kid Buu while Pikkon and Obliu were oneshotted, Tien using multiform and still having enough power to stomp Jeice and Burter, SSJ2 Vegeta putting up a decent fight against Kid Buu (even scaring Buu due to his resilience). Just off the top of my head.
