Ya, Avengers Vs XMen #5. Death will be used as a last resort, as in if they cant capture someone like Wolverine or Nightcrawler, they would then consider shooting them into space IF a situation like that were to arise.

JLA should win rather easily. Zatanna could solo.

Magneto is pretty beast and could solo. But so could Zatanaa...

It basically looks like this comes down to Magneto vs Zatanna. I don't know enough about Zatanna to know how that goes.

Yeah, apparently it's a result of AvX. Instead of choosing Hope as its host, the Phoenix Force chose Scott, Emma, Namor, Magik, and Colossus.

What makes you think Nightcrawler takes out Zee before she stops them all? I know she has to say whole phrases backwards and not, but it's never stopped her from stopping bullets and such so she isn't a slow spell caster. Also, Plastic man is rather resilient.

Zatanna is a wildcard, as far as I am concerned. I do not know how it would go; Kurt could take her while she's off guard. If he gets his hands on her, she is dead. But again, it depends on what she does before that.

This is pritty much Zatanna vs mag, the question is could she break his shields B4 he crushes her.

I think Mag wins this1. Or NightC could take her out as the fight begins.

I agree

The Phoenix did not choose the other X-Men over Hope, a desperate ploy by the Avengers hindered the transfer and then the Phoenix-imbued X-Men took Hope away to attempt to correct the issue. Phoenix was quite perturbed by the Avengers' interference.
