x-man vs superman

This somewhat depends on the setting.  If it's a random encounter Superman could probably one shot Nate (yea, he can exist on the Astral plane, but if Supes decimates his physical body I would consider that a W), as Superman has been shown to move faster than the speed of thought.  If they started in an old-western duel style, where Nate at least had Supes in his line of sight before they started, then Nate could probably just shut Supes' mind off as soon as the fight started.  A slightly more in-depth OP would be good...

Supes can't even touch Nate.

1. Nate can transform into a pure energy

2. Nate can mindrape him

3. Nate can rip him apart on a molecular level

Despite all of the impeccable strength, speed, and invulnerability that superman could muster, he is still matter--composed of protons and electrons and atoms. Since telekinesis is the manipulation of matter itself, the old Man of Steel is virtually defenseless against Nate.  X-man in particular has telekinetic prowess sufficient enough to turn objects into dust--dispersing their atomic bonds on a mere whim. I.E., Superman flies at Nate with all of his strength and inadvertently disintegrates. The end.

• Superman can't kill Nate.
• He can't even knock him out since nate can exist as an energy being or simply be intangible.
• Nate shuts supes mind off.
• He rips superman apart on a molecular level.

Nate wins if you ask me the speed thing doesn't really matter because Nate doesn't need a physical body to exist. Not to mention that Nate has many other powers to take down Supes.
