Poll X-Man vs Justice League originals (minus Flash) (61 votes)
this is just to verify a curiosity aroused in my mind by @thenewbluebeetle007 in another thread. to note this first.... it's due to my genuine curiosity of the matter and not just for the gain in that thread... can a strong representation change a character's view and impact in a whole site?
X-Man is no doubt one of the most versatile heroes we've seen in comics.. his power tier lies at high herald level (around Silver Surfer) in his shaman form.. he has on panel statement of being around Sentry level (was said to be able to go one on one with the Sentry) ... so, can this hero really beat the Justice League originals if they don't get the support of the Flash?... lets find out what the Viners think
Rules:
- in character
- shaman x-man (nate grey), composite feats for JL (means post crisis + new 52)
- fight starts in the grand canyon.. 500 meters apart
- time manip isn't allowed, no prep, no knowledge
- win by incap, KO or death .. BFR is viable, only if it can finish off or incapacitate the opponent, otherwise it won't be counted as a win
X-Man
vs
Justice League originals (minus Flash)
Which side prevails?
my personal opinion:
i have no doubt in my mind that nate will beat any of them one on one.. or beat more than one at a time.. but, i don't believe MMH to be a fodder in TP... although i do think nate is a greater telepath.. but i also think that MMH + aquaman + hal would give him a good struggle in telepathy... and the rest can overwhelm him with power.. while nate do have tremendous evasive abilities... i don't see him not getting overwhelmed when at the same time he's battling in telepathy... i'll give the league 8/10 wins actually.
