Just wondering, for my own curiosity.. why do you think the Mind Gem allows Thanos to curbstomp that entire team? Besides boosting his intellect, how will it allow him to defend against WWHulk's attacks, etc?
Thanos - Black Bolt and Hulk are completely uselss. Black Adam goes down a minute later and no, Thanos isn't getting blitzed. He has reacted to Thor's hammer which is FTL, reacted to Ganymede who easily blitzed Silver Surfer, reacted to Fallen One, etc.

Mind Gem allows him to attack their minds with unstoppable telepathy. He is the best when we are talking about gems. Each other give him a power to attack highest beings in universe.
wwh still gets thrown into orbit but I'm prettey sure thanos's mental defenses would protect him from a mind rape by BB mainly because he's in experienced with the gem

Thanos wins this with any of the gems. The first battle, though, we would lose it. Against Black Adam one on one, I think anyone could take it; maybe Black Adam is more powerful, but Thanos is much more cunning and resourceful.
Team for win in Round 1. Thanos powerstomps second 2 horrendously. Power gem is going to already amp his insane physicals, so in that regard I don't see how the team can compete.
The mind gem gives him Despero+Xavier levels of TP and I highly doubt the team can compete with the versatility of that build.

I agree with this post. Although if Thanos isn't allowed to BFR, mind-**** or let loose with one of his godly attacks, I'd give it to the team in a good fight.

Well if you read Infinity, BB really, really was giving Thanos loads of trouble, Thanos was tanking but he definitely took more damage than I've seen any other character give him, and this was a 1v1 battle. He does not have that advantage if he has to deal with a hulk who was trading blows with Sentry ( Marvel's Superman) and Pre new 52 Black Adam to my knowledge solo'd a helluva lot of DCU, so that IMO is more than enough to give Thanos a run for his money and the team can eke out a win.
Black Bolt gave Thanos multiple screams, one of them at point blank range, all they did was manage to undress the Titan and give him a nose bleed. Not only that, but we can clearly see that Thanos was trying to find out where Thane was, he didn't want to kill him until BB made him, Thanos could have finished him whenever he wanted to.
Also BA and Hulk obviously aren't going to fight Thanos while BB is screaming at him, because they'll take the damage too and they will be affected far, far more than Thanos was here because they are nowhere near Thanos in the durability department.
Once Thanos is done with BB, there is only BA and Hulk, and I really don't see them even affecting a guy who tanked those screams, tanked Surfer's best shots, tanked Odin's shots (which KO'd Surfer in one shot, in the same fight), tanked Galactus' shots, Tyrant's shots, Omega's shots, Terrax's planet splitting shots, Inbetweener's shots, Kosmos' shots and more.

I have to say that you have got it spot on and must be one of the few people on this site giving Thanos the respect he deserves.
And yes just to point out something else, BA and Hulk arent even getting close to Thanos while BB is screaming. BB KOed Hulk with a whisper. An outright scream like that? Hulk is going to be ripped to shreds
Black Adam is beyond overrated on these forums. First and foremost he was amped by the power of Isis in WW3 which came from an amulet and NOT from him. Secondly there was a ridiculous amount of PIS in many of his fights in WW3. Thirdly he did not fight Superman, Wonder Woman, Wally, Kyle, Hal, Aquaman heck even Batman(lol) in WW3. Fourthly even counting ALL his feats from WW3 , this guy is yet to even bust a planet . I fail to see how he can do jackshit to Thanos when people like Surfer(planet buster) and Classic Drax( star buster) failed to even gather his attention properly. Thanos ? He busts a planet as a side effect of locking his fingers with Drax and pushing
And then even considering all that, Thanos took the damage output of a black hole once and was unaffected
World War Hulk stalemating against a mildly interested Sentry was 1. PIS and 2, Not really all that impressive given Bob had not yet unlocked his full potential
3 PIMP SMACKS all around should take care of these jokers
Only BB among them can even harm Thanos and I dont think even he is going to last very long against a bloodlusted Thanos
