Prep:

1. Quicksilver goes about spreading his Daken pheromones and getting all the peoples under my control. He then has them build a bomb for him, big enough to take out the whole other side of the city.

2. When the match starts they send people over there and detonate it.

Strategy:

1. Bomb goes off, probably kills your whole team.

2. If it doesn't, QS blitzes you all with the Ebony Blade, decapitating you all. The end.

3. If he runs into any problems, Spider Sense helps him, as does those pheromones messing with your mind, and his new super voice powers+healing factor. Any blasts get dodged or redirected via Ebony Blade. Anything he can't beat with the best sword ever and speed (so basically nothing, but w/e) gets leveled by his super voice operating at super speeds.

4. Jill teleports behind people and shoots them. Rinse Repeat.

5. We Win.

Scans

Quicksilver

QS dodging Exodus's psionic attacks, and even his AoE attacks, then KO'ing him with superspeed punches

QS showing sword skills, running up buildings, being faster than an electric current, dodging a huge spread of bullets, and juggling guns at a ridiculous rate

QS running halfway around the world in 92 seconds, mach 5 punch, dodging lightning, running from one country to the next and back mid sentence, running and making a sonic boom to easily defeat Venom

QS making tornadoes

Crimson Avenger:

Her gun doesn't run out of bullets, and her bullets can hurt Power Girl....and one of the scans she's clearly teleporting behind Power Girl as well

Gaara of the Desert

Biography

Gaara is a Shinobi [ Ninja ] who hails from Sungakure, one of the five great Shinbo Countries. Due to his upbringing Gaara had an incredibly harsh and ruthless personality; occassionally simulating bloodlust and extreme hatred - the reasoning behind this is due to the fact that he had a demon named Shukaku sealed within him, thus branding him a "monster" by the rest of the village even though Gaara had no choice or part in what had been done to him.

Gaara made many attempts to be friendly and connect with those around him as a child, but due to Shukaku most people avoided him or resented him. The one person who didn't despise Gaara for what he was was Yashamaru, his maternal uncle. Yashamaru helped Gaara though his early childhood, defending him whenever the demon inside caused him to harm others. Unfortunately for both Yashamaru and Gaara, Yashamaru was ordered to attack Gaara both physically and psychology in an attempt to see if Gaara could contain Shukaku, he couldn't and Yashamaru was killed while Gaara knew nothing of the reasoning behind the attack.

Due to these turn of events Gaara became an incredibly cruel individual - harming or killing others in an attempt to prove his worth to those around him and the people of his village; however, it only created fear.

Gaara only understood the concept of fighting for himself up until his confrontation with Naruto during the Chunin Exams - and once defeated by Naruto in combat he finally understood that others could truly appreciate him for who he was and not as the monster inside of him. Gaara eventually learned to travel with friends, understand compassion, and became an ally to Naruto.

Gaara still maintains a dark sense of humor, and has been released of his bond with Shukaku; however, the version of Gaara that I am using in this tournament is still bonded with the One Tailed Demon, Shukaku.

Personality

As mentioned - Gaara was once an incredibly cruel and harsh individual, he had no qualms with killing others to prove his dominance.

Gaara has since learned compassion, and is a kinder individual - granted he can still be incredibly rough around the edges.

For the purposes of this tournament Gaara will be Morals Off.

Powers & Abilities & Equipment

In the Narutoverse there are three major fields of skill and abilities that a Shinobi utilizes in combat:

  • Ninjutsu
  • Genjutsu
  • Taijutsu

I don't believe there really needs to be much distinction about which of Gaara's attacks are which during the debate, it's not like any of the Bleach Characters are immune to a specific form of skill or abilities; however, for the sake of providing depth & detail to this introduction I'll inform you that Gaara mainly uses a Ninjutsu known as Magnet Release in order to magnetize sand & use it in combat.

List of Attacks

  • Sand Control - Due to Magnet Release Gaara is able to freely manipulate the sand around him & within the Earth for both offensive and defensive purposes.
  • Desert Coffin - One of Gaara's most popular attacks. He uses his powers to completely engulf a foe in sand; thus immobilizing and potentially suffocating them.
  • Desert Funeral - A follow up to the Desert Coffin attack. Gaara makes the sand covering his foe implode to instantly kill his foe via crushing their body.
  • Desert Prison - Gaara can use this attack to entrap a foe no matter where they reside - be it land or air. He creates an airtight space around the foe made of incredibly dense & durable sand.
  • Shield of Sand - Gaara has an automatic defense system within the sand - meaning that the sand around Gaara protects him from projectiles and physical attacks without Gaara having to focus or concentrate on the attack targeting him. This allows Gaara to easily focus on attacking a foe without having to worry about holding up a defensive position.
  • Armor of Sand - Gaara creates a super dense layer of sand that completely covers him from head to toe. It renders most, if not all attacks that make contact with it rather useless.
  • Sand Doppleganger - Gaara can create a completely functional clone out of sand to fight for him & act as defense.
  • Quicksand Waterfall - Gaara can create an incredibly large & powerful tidal wave of sand to disorient & attack his foes.
  • Imperial Desert Funeral - The follow up to the Quicksand Waterfall technique, Gaara uses the massive sea of sand to either crush or liquefy an opponent so quickly that they don't feel any pain before their death.
  • Desert Suspension - Gaara can use the sand around him & ride it in the air thus granting him a form of levitation or flight.
  • Sand Drizzle - An attack that proves Gaara's versatility, he can make it rain sand from above and usually follows up with the Desert Funeral attack.
  • Third Eye - Gaara can create what appears to be an eye made entirely out of sand to spy on his foes while he protects himself in a sphere of incredibly durable & defensive sand.

Shukaku Related Attacks

  • Feigning Sleep Technique - Gaara uses this technique in order to let the demon Shukaku take total control during a fight; however, if the spell of sleep is broken then Shukaku becomes contained inside of Gaara once again.
  • Shield of Shukaku - Gaara creates a giant shield to defend himself with.
  • Wind Element: Infinite Sand Storm - A technique in which a powerful blast of wind/sand is sent towards the foe to blow them off their feet & discombobulate them.

Gaara can also transform various portions of his body into monstrous forms - but I don't think he'll be doing that for this fight. If it comes up then I'll explain it then but, if not, no harm done.

Equipment

Gaara carries around a large gourd [ strapped to his back ] that is filled with sand. This sand is stained red due to the amount of blood that has mixed with the sand throughout Gaara's combat history.

Grifter

Biography

Cole Cash is Grifter - once a member of a special operatives force he deserted and became a con artist. He was on the verge of an incredibly huge score before a member of the alien species known as the Daemonites tried to posses his body. The fallout from this turned Cash into one of the most wanted men alive, thus he began donning a mask and dubbed himself Grifter, now waging war on the Daemonites.

Throughout his history he has been a member of various teams such as the Wild C.A.T.S.

Personality

Grifter is a con artist and a deserter to the military he once served. He does things for himself, because he wants to do em' - and he doesn't really have a set of morals.

Not that it matters considering he's been gifted perfect teamwork and morals off via a perk I bought.

Powers & Abilities & Equipment

Grifter is a rather "unknown" character on the battle forums - so hopefully this helps people get a grasp of what he's capable of.

  • Marksmanship - Grifter has supurb marksmanship capabilities and has been able to hit targets from incredibly far distances. He traditionally totes around two pistols which he uses to engage his foes.
  • Hand to Hand - Grifter has standard special ops training along with training from the Coda. I doubt he'll be using H2H in this fight, but hey, it's there in case he TRULY needs it.
  • Healing Factor - Due to his exposure to the Gen Factor he has developed an advanced healing factor that has allowed him to heal from deadly wounds such as a broken neck and shattered legs without scarring.
  • Telepathy / Telekinesis - Grifter has also developed the ability to use telepathy and telekinesis due to gen factor exposure. His powers were once sealed away due to his Coda training; however, it has recently been seen that he now has access to his powers again.

Equipment

Grifter carries two pistols with him at all times as they are his traditional firearms. He has shown to have used assault & sniper rifles on occasion.

Joker

Biography

The true history of the Joker is shrouded in a cloud of mystery; however, they all end the same way - with one man becoming a psychopathic criminal mastermind to rival Gotham's protector, Batman.

Joker has been the antithesis of Batman since his creation, tormenting Gotham and its inhabitants on a daily basis.

Considering Joker is one of the most popular characters in comics I don't feel the need to write all that much about him - if you don't know who the Joker is then I don't know how long you've been under a rock.

Personality

He'll tell you how lovely you look, stick a knife in your belly, and then laugh after cracking a joke at your expense.

He's insane.

Powers & Abilities & Equipment

Joker doesn't really have any "powers" in the traditional sense seeing as he is a base human; however, he does have some physiological differences that make him a tad unique.

  • Poison/Toxin Immunity - Due to all the time Joker spends inhaling & bathing in his own lethal chemicals he has developed an incredibly high immunity to a wide variety of poisons and toxins, including his own Joker Venom and Scarecrow's Fear Gas.
  • Increased Pain Tolerance - This isn't really a specific "power" of sorts but Joker has an incredibly high tolerance to pain and has been shown to completely ignore injuries that would prevent any normal human from functioning.
  • Hand to Hand Skill - Joker isn't really 'trained' in the traditional sense; however, his unpredictable nature & wiry frame have given Joker an edge in several h2h encounters, even against the Dark Knight.
  • Chemistry Genius - Joker seems to have a developed genius for working with a variety of chemicals - this is seen with the assortment of different Joker Venom's & toxins he's designed over the years.
  • Engineering Genius - Joker has utilized a wide variety of tools and gadgets that he himself has designed and shows intricate knowledge on how to build advanced weaponry and traps.
  • Hacking - Joker has been shown to hack television networks to broadcast his own messages; however, the extent of this hacking is unknown.

Equipment

  • Oversized Pistol - Joker has a comically over sized pistol that fires a flag with the word 'Bang!' printed on it. When the trigger is pulled a second time the flag is launched out of the pistol and can be used to skewer his target.
  • Joy Buzzer - Joker uses a modified version of the originally harmless prank known as the 'Joy Buzzer' that administers a jolt of 50,000 volts to it's target.
  • Joker Venom - One of Joker's trademark methods of killing - Joker has designed a variety of lethal toxins known as Joker Venom. The venom can be lethal or non-lethal depending on what Joker is trying to accomplish. The Joker Venom has been shown to work as an airborne gas and as a liquid.
  • Razor Sharp Playing Cards - Like they sound, Joker has a deck of cards with razor sharp edges to be thrown like ninja stars

Joker's wit is more useful than his weaponry for this fight - but he's still an incredibly useful member of this team.

Poison Ivy

Biography

Pamela Isley was once a student who studied biochemistry and botany; however, after her physiology was manipulated by the Floranic Man she became the super villain known as Poison Ivy. Under this guise she became an ecoterrorist who would do anything and everything to protect the forests and plant's around here - to which she calls her children and/or babies.

She's flip-flopped several times in terms of morality; however, in the end she generally fights for whatever side benefits her and her agenda the most, commonly being the wrong side of the law.

It should also be noted that even though she is labeled as a Batman Rogue or Villain she is far above street level and her powers have developed enough to the point where she's able to manipulate feats and powers on the levels of Swamp Thing and the Floronic Man.

I'll explain that more in her powers & abilities though.

Personality

Ivy is ruthless and seductive, using her looks and appearance along with pheremones in order to manipulate her foes into becoming her allies or her puppets.

She has no qualms about killing others - and becomes incredibly hostile & offended if anyone is to harm or attack her plants.

Powers & Abilities & Equipment

I'm allowed to use Pre 52 & New 52 feats for Poison Ivy - which is rad.

  • Plant Control - Ivy has total mental control over all forms of plant life, she can cause plants to grow at an exponentially quick rate. She can also create various hybrid plants that have various effects & whatnot. Her plant control is very similar to that of Swamp Thing and the Floronic Man.
  • Plant Avatar Creation - Ivy can create an avatar out of plant life to project her thoughts & speech elsewhere while Ivy remains safe & out of the fray.
  • Plant Communication - Ivy can hear the thoughts of all plants - thus granting her the ability to use them for scouting or spying purposes.

Ivy also is a formidable combatant without her powers; however, I don't see her having to resort to a fist fight in this round, but it might happen.

Ultimate Wolverine

Biography

Ultimate Wolverine is an enigma and his past has been lost due to the treatments he received while in the weapon X program. He originally fought in WWII with Captain America; however, after being arrested by 2 American MP members he was brought to Weapon X to be experimented on and turned into a living weapon. It was within the Weapon X program that he was told he was a mutant and obtained the name Mutant X.

Eventually he was rescued by a young Magneto; however, he was caught once again and his bones were bonded with Adamantium, an unbreakable substance. Once again Wolverine escaped and this time became Magento's elite assassin. Wolverine was hired to assassinate Professor X, the leader of the X-Men; however, he fell in love with Jean Grey and sympathized with Professor X's ideals and eventually joined the team as a full fledged member.

Personality

Wolverine has no qualms with killing others and is a very vicious combatant.

Powers & Abilities & Equipment

Ultimate Wolverine is similar to his 616 counterpart:

  • Regenerative Healing Factor - Wolverine has an incredible healing factor that allows him to repair damaged tissues in very short periods of time.
  • Disease Resistance - Wolverine has an incredibly powerful immune system and is immune to all earth bound diseases & infections.
  • Toxin Resistance - While not fully immune, Wolverine can withstand high doses of tranquilizers and other toxins.
  • Superhuman Senses - Wolverine has superhuman senses allowing him to hear very faint sounds from long distances, see clearly in poorly lit areas, and track a target via their smell even if the trail has been "covered" thus making Wolverine a wonderful scout.
  • Adamantium Skeleton - Wolverine has a skeleton bonded with the unbreakable material known as Adamantium, making him incredibly durable.
  • Retractable Claws - Wolverine has 3 claws in each of his hands that are also bonded with Adamantium, thus allowing him to cut through any material with ease.

As you see - pretty close to the normal Wolverine.

Wolfsbane

Biography

Rahne is a mutant with the power of lyancthropy and after first learning this she was hunted down by her local townsfolk due to the fact that they believed her to be possessed by a demon. Thankfully she was found and saved by a woman named Moira MacTaggert and was brought to America to be taught by Professor Charles Xavier.

It was here that Rahne would become a member of Xavier's New Mutants and worked alongside her fellow mutants to aid the mutant cause.

Eventually Rahne would join the second incarnation of the X Factor.

Personality

Rahne is strong, outspoken, and independent; however she used to struggle with her emotions and feelings due to her strict religious upbringing.

Powers & Abilities & Equipment

Rahne's powers and abilities include:

  • Lycanthropy - Rahne is a werewolf; however, she does not suffer the limitations and can turn into a wolf at will. When she turns into a wolf she retains her human consciousness while also gaining increased mass, strength, senses, durability, and agility.
  • Pregnancy Alterations - When Rahne was pregnant [ as she is during this tournament ] her stats were increased and made her even stronger and more durable. Her senses also increased.
  • Healing Factor - Rahne has a healing factor allowing her to heal damaged tissue at a much faster rate.

So there you have it!

Prep

Now that you've got an idea of who my team is [ considering none of them are all THAT popular on these forums ] I'll go into my prep.

First thing to note is that my team has full knowledge of each other & of your team [ thanks to my perk ] which also means that we'll know about all the amplifications that Quicksilver has been given.

Your team on the other hand only has basic knowledge to go off of - so that's unfortunate for you.

Step 1 | Manipulating the Population

Before we can do anything major we'll have to get the 3,000 city inhabitants on my side of the field to be under our control, this way they won't interfere with anything my team plans on doing.

To do this Ivy will release her pheromones thus allowing her to bend anyone & everyone in the city to her will.

Now that nobody can hinder my teams prep the real work begins.

Step 2 | Manipulating the Battlefield

My team will be heading over to the island on my side of the battlefield - I'll crop the picture so you can see exactly what island I'm talking about.

This is beneficial due to the already high amount of plant life located on the island - Ivy will create more and more until the island essentially looks like a Jungle.

Gaara will also work on manipulating the island & will drain the earth of all minerals while crushing any and all stones around him to give him a massive amount of sand - so the island will be covered with the stuff.

Ivy will also have some giant vines burst from the water to destroy the bridges on each side - considering her vines are strong enough to lift/throw large buildings this shouldn't be a problem.

To summarize:

  • Ivy makes the island into a Jungle
  • Gaara makes the "floor" of the island into a Desert
  • Ivy removes the bridges via incredibly powerful vines causing the island to become a true "island".

Onward to step 3.

Step 3 | Preparing the Joker Toxin

This is where Joker comes into play - he's going to make some of his lethal Joker Toxin.

Joker usually keeps a sample of the Toxin within his fake flower; however, if he doesn't have any with him for whatever reason he can discuss what he needs with Ivy & she can create the toxins, considering her body is FULL of them.

Joker then works with Ivy [ thanks perfect teamwork ] to mass produce this Toxin so that Joker can design his own little Toxin Trap.

The trap itself will be the sprinkler system within the park [ the island seems to have a small park area on it & given the city is technologically advanced I assume they have a sprinkler system ] where Joker will replace the water with his Toxin.

That way the Toxin will be ready to be activated sometime during the fight & used as a lethal weapon.

Step 4 | Heading Sky High

None of my team members can actually "fly" except for Gaara - he can achieve a sort of "hovering" via his sand.

This can be seen during Gaara's fight with Deidara in which he used his sand to fly/levitate in the air.

With all the sand he created during his prep he'll be able to make a platform large enough for the entirety of my team thus lifting them high off the ground & into the air.

Gaara will then create one of his shields/spheres in mid air to keep my entire team safe in a very durable field of sand.

Gaara lastly creates one of his 'Sand Eyes' while high in the sky to get a 360 degree field of view

Prep Summarized:

  • Ivy uses her pheromones to put the 3,000 inhabitants under my teams control.
  • Ivy turns the island my team is located on into a Jungle using her chlorokinesis & creating her deadly plants.
  • Gaara floods the floor of the Jungle/Island with sand by draining the earth of it's minerals & crushing any & all rocks.
  • Joker & Ivy work together to mass produce more of Joker's Chemical Cocktail known as the Joker Toxin.
  • Joker rigs the Sprinkler System in the park with the Toxin.
  • Ivy destroys the bridges leading to the island with her vines.
  • Gaara lifts my team into the air on one of his floating sand platforms.
  • Gaara covers my entire team in one of his sand sphere shields.
  • Gaara creates his 'Sand Eye' to see a 360 degree field of view while still protected in the field.

If you need any proof of this being possible - feel free to ask & I shall provide.

Responding to DR's Prep/Strategy

Alright time to debunk everything here.

1. Quicksilver goes about spreading his Daken pheromones and getting all the peoples under my control. He then has them build a bomb for him, big enough to take out the whole other side of the city.

This was realistic up onto the point you mentioned them building a bomb large enough to take out 50% of the city.

We've discussed this in a PM with Luke but just so the voters know - you're breaking the rules when you use weapons/equipment already on the battle field, and chemicals [ like those required to build a bomb ] count as weapons.

If you're going to make a call on my own prep about my team & the Joker Toxin then let it be known that Joker & Ivy are making the toxin out of Ivy's own bodily toxins combined with Joker's Toxin that he keeps on him in his flower - the Sprinkler System also doesn't count as a "weapon" and can such be used as a means of dispensing the toxin.

So as it stands - no big bomb!

1. Bomb goes off, probably kills your whole team.

Well - since your whole bomb plan just exploded in your face better move onto step two.

2. If it doesn't, QS blitzes you all with the Ebony Blade, decapitating you all. The end.

Well we're all floating WAY above QS's reach essentially making QS the most useless member of your team. Jill is almost useless but at least she has pistols so she can attempt to fire at my team.

Bummer that you gave ALL of your perks to someone who lacks range [ besides some Fus Ro Dah ] and can't fight in the air.

3. If he runs into any problems, Spider Sense helps him, as does those pheromones messing with your mind, and his new super voice powers+healing factor. Any blasts get dodged or redirected via Ebony Blade. Anything he can't beat with the best sword ever and speed (so basically nothing, but w/e) gets leveled by his super voice operating at super speeds.

The Spider Sense will only help him so much - and Ultimate Wolverine, Poison Ivy, Joker, and Wolfbane should be highly immune to the pheromones since they're a toxin type attack and those members are all highly resistant - there's also the fact that all of my team members are covered in Gaara's total sand defense so the pheromones wouldn't get through.

Also - to even attack my team Quicksilver is entering an area where the entire island is "living" and is fighting against him [ thanks to Gaara's sand manipulation and Ivy's Plants ] thus making that island an absolute DEATHTRAP for Quicksilver, especially since he's only allowed to move at Mach 5 speeds.

4. Jill teleports behind people and shoots them. Rinse Repeat.

It appears you don't have all that much knowledge on Jill, maybe you do, but if not I suggest you read some of her appearances within the 1999 - 2006 JSA run.

She CAN teleport but she only teleports to those who are in need of being killed for the purpose of vengeance. When she was attacking Wildcat & Power Girl she kept teleporting near Wildcat because he was her target as he had framed someone for a crime they didn't commit.

The Crimson Avenger didn't even know the full story behind it & just kept trying to shoot Wildcat over and over again - Powergirl only got hit because she tried to jump in the way of CA's bullets to prevent Wildcat from getting shot, eventually Powergirl even caught her bullets & threw it right back at her.

Jill can attempt to teleport to my team - but I feel as if it's outside the scope of her powers; however, if we're allowing her teleportation then sure, let her teleport into the sand sphere with everyone else.

Every member of my team has shown faster reaction times than she has & Wolverine would be able to rip her apart with his claws, Gaara could use the sand in the sphere to perform his sand burial technique, Ivy could ensnare her in vines strong enough to hold Superboy in place & disarm her, Wolfsbane could tear her to pieces with her claws/teeth, or Grifter could shoot her up & hold her in place with a TK/Bullets wombo combo.

Jill teleporting to my team is an instant deathwish.

5. We Win.

My Battle Plans

Now that I've poked all the holes in your plan - it's time to layout my own.

With Gaara & the rest of my team far above the ground they're completely out of reach for Quicksilver to attack or for Jill to reach, in fact the only way Jill could get there is if she teleported inside the sphere but she wouldn't survive that encounter as she'd be killed instantly by anyone & everyone else there.

Jill has no speed feats or reaction feats to my knowledge - she got tagged by a bullet that Powergirl caught & then threw back at her, and the only reason she was able to hit Powergirl was because Powergirl jumped in front of those bullets to protect Wildcat from getting shot, and Wildcat wasn't fighting back because he was trying to explain the whole story to CA but she just kept blindly shooting at him.

So she'd be entering a sphere with the following people:

  • Ultimate Wolverine who has several blitz feats under his belt including but not limited to blitzing Ultimate Quicksilver on one or two occassions.
  • Wolfsbane who has enhanced physicals [ including speed ] to pounce on her.
  • Gaara who has all the sand he needs [ since Jill teleported into a sphere of it with the rest of my team ] to perform his Desert Burial technique & has the speed to keep up with Rock Lee after he opened several of his Gates & removed his leg weights.
  • Poison Ivy who used her plants to block a Sniper Round fired at her & catch an unsuspecting Superboy.
  • Grifter who has cleared entire rooms of armed foes before they could get off a single shot.
  • Joker - well hey, she might shoot Joker, but he'll just laugh about it.

So as I said - instant death once Jill teleports.

This just leaves Quicksilver racing around to kill my team - but he still can't reach any of them. Gaara & the bunch should be high enough for the Fus Roh Dah to be useless, as it has a rather short range.

So Quicksilver can't hurt my team - but my team can hurt Quicksilver if the sand he's running on grabs him & breaks his legs or if he gets caught in the grip of Ivy's plants - seeing as they were strong enough to contain Superboy.

If all that somehow fails [ which it won't - but if SOMEHOW ] then Ivy will be able to activate the Sprinkler System with her plants thus sending out the Joker Toxin throughout the entirety of the battle field.

Even with his healing factor's Quicksilver shouldn't be able to take THAT much dosage of the toxin & keep moving at full speed, it'd slow him down a bit & allow the sand/plants to catch him with greater ease - if all else fails then Grifter can hold him in place with his TK & then have Gaara's sand crush Quicksilver.

I can edit in scans & video links for all of this - but I had to reboot my entire computer to Factory Settings to I'm working on getting all my scans back, just gimmie a day or something & this post will include them.

I'm looking forward to your response @darkraiden - if it's like your opener then this battle will be something, that's for sure.

@thetruebarryallen: Actually the bomb hasn't been ruled out. The PM is still covering what I can and can't use. Remember I never specified what I was using to make the bomb.

Rebutting you Plan/Your response to me

She's fought with Impulse before (I think) and being tagged by HER OWN bullet isn't bad considering they hurt and hit Power Girl aka a kryptonian. And she's even blasted herself point blank in the head with her own bullets and lived. She also literally experiences the victims deaths before she hunts the person in need of killing.

5. Also you said she only teleports to her victims in need of killing....yeah that'd be your team.

6. Plants aren't blocking a bullet that pierces the likes of Power Girl

7. When Joker gets shot...he dies. He can laugh all he wants, he's still dead.

8. So all of that stuff about everyone blitzing or hurting her is null because she can't even die and she can go intangible. Tough luck.

9. Your team can't be out of Quicksilvers reach, not sure if you saw the scans but....he can create tornadoes/whirlwinds with his hands and by just running. Here I'll post them again

10. Those tornadoes also mess up your little sprinkler plan (as does Quicksilver moving waaaaay faster than water/sprinklers and never being hit) and possibly cause it to backfire as the toxins will now fly towards your team if anything.

11. Gaara's sand doesn't stop air/oxygen/smells which is how the Pheromones travel so...pretty much your whole team will e under QS's control the longer you fight. (Maybe not Ivy. Ultimate Wolverine will be since IIRC 616 Wolverine's been affected by them and he has at the very least an equal healing factor.

12. Like hell Spider Sense won't help, it allows a much slower than QS Spider-Man to dodge lightning and attacks at the speed of thought and so on. QS can already dodge those types of attacks, so adding the Spider Sense to him, simply makes his reaction speeds impossible to hit levels. Your team will never lay a hand on him.

More on my plan

Now of course there's some crossover from the rebuttal stage, but some stuff needs to be stated twice. For emphasis. For emphasis.

1. So bomb time is still pending but, in the meantime, Jill still teleports to you guys, goes intangible, and murders all of you in a hail of bullets since she has no limits on her ammo and her bullets can hurt and hit Kryptonians. Vines won't work, Sand won't work, TK won't work, Toxins won't work, speedblitz won't work.

That literally ends the match there but w/e

2. QS runs over all super fast and notices a desert/jungle combo and you guys super high in the air in a sand sphere supposedly "out of his reach". As mentioned before he either does tornado running and traps your team in a tornado (and vacuum, sucking out all of their air), or blasts them out the sky with his jazz tornado hands. Either way, you guys are no longer out of his reach. Oh and this subsequently counters that sprinkler plan.

3. With QS running around and being around so much, his pheromones will be spreading fast too, so your team will soon be under my control.

4. From what I can tell, he may also have a nifty blast from the Ebony Blade to hit you from far range:

With his super speed, spider sense (that allows the likes of slower people like Peter and Miles to dodge lightning, something Pietro can ALREADY DO), and healing factor, QS will essentially never be hit, grabbed, touched, etc. and will simply suffocate your team if they're in the air or slice and dice them if they ever touch the ground.

6. And if all else fails (it won't), QS can literally stop what he's doing, run back over to my side of the city, and chill as Gaara runs out of chakra and my pheromones do their work on your team and cause them to kill each other. And Jill can help by constantly teleporting and shooting everyone.

@darkraiden: I'm so enthused to continue this discussion about your absolutely featless & incredibly improbable bomb strategy, almost as excited as that time you tried to make an entire army using Vixen and Taskmaster and we all know how THAT went.

Responding to DR's Rebuttal

Lets see what you've pulled up.

1. Gaara's Eye doesn't give 360 view no matter how high up you are, only 180 as he's only been shown making the eye in front of him.

During Gaara's fight with Deidara - which can be found at this link - he created his Third Eye to give him a view of the entire battlefield while he encased himself in his Shield of Sand.

If for some reason it is only 180 degrees field of view it's still more than enough considering the height that Gaara is at is a high enough vantage point to see everything below us - the island - that Quicksilver will be running on.

Ivy's blood is filled with Toxins - and she could easily just make plants that contained these toxins, something not far out of her powerset considering she once made a plant filled with acid strong enough to keep killing Black Lantern Black Mask I'd say a plant filled with toxins isn't outside the realm of possibility - more realistic than your bomb is anyways.

The scans above show the plant she created to digest Black Lantern Black Mask over and over again.

Now you might claim that the Joker Toxin is highly advanced and requires tons of hard to access chemicals to make, right?

Joker has made his lethal Venom/Toxin with basic cleaning agents that could be found in any janitors closet - to say he can't make some with the Toxins that Ivy can create is just bizarre.

Heck - my Joker Venom plan has more weight behind it than Quicksilver or Jill building a bomb without any materials or knowledge of how to make a bomb.

3. Ivy's vines only held Superboy because he was drained by Parasite. Plus QS will be moving super fast and has the perfect weed whacker at his disposal. Oh and a super voice that could be used should his hands be tied.

Ivy's vines still held Superboy - even if he was a tad weakened by Parasite, he still had far more strength than Quicksilver currently has even with all those amplifications you've given him.

You also seem to be forgetting that my team knows about ALL of Quicksilver's new powers - Ivy or Gaara wouldn't just trap his arms or legs - they'd be able to cover his mouth & close his jaw to prevent him from using his Dragon Shout.

4. If YOU knew anything about Jill, you'd know that she can't actually die and can go intangible. I do know about Jill - I went out and bought a majority of her appearances on Comixology in order to do research on the character so I knew what I was going up against.

Jill may not be able to actually "die" but she can still be harmed & knocked out - she didn't automatically recover after she shot herself in the head.

She shot herself - then went back to repeat her own death because she's caught in the cycle - and then appeared at her own headstone.

Also - if you could show scans of her fighting Impulse that'd be great - because I've looked it up and read anything & everything I could about her and I found nothing mentioning a fight with Impulse.

Being tagged by her own bullet is indeed pretty terrible - considering she didn't have the speed to move out of the way of a bullet in close range, yet you're suggesting she'll be able to teleport inside of Gaara's sand shield and blitz my entire team? Hah.

Lastly - if she experienced her targets death before she went to go kill them then she would've experienced Wildcat telling her that she had the story wrong & she was killing him for no reason what so ever, and she would've been prepared when he came back to life several times due to his '9 lives' ability.

You've got a lot to prove about Crimson Avenger - Jill Carlyle - if you think she's going to solo my entire team without a hitch, seriously.

Her teleportation is against her will - she teleports to the target that she must kill in order to 'Avenge' a victim - so your whole belief that she's going to be teleporting at will directly behind every member of my team too fast for them to conceive is just straight up incorrect.

Heck - an injured Wildcat was able to outrun her teleportation.

The bullet pierced Power Girl - it didn't go through her. The bullet pierced Wildcat - it didn't go all the way through him. The bullet pierced Crimson Avenger herself - it didn't go all the way through her. I think Ivy's super thick & incredibly durable vines could stop a bullet in their tracks.

Honestly it depends on where you shoot him - Crimson Avenger doesn't always score instant kills, she kind of just spams bullets everywhere hoping to hit her target.

If she can go intangible then why didn't she go intangible when Powergirl caught the bullet she fired at her and threw it back to hit her?

Crimson Avenger lacks reaction feats hardcore - yet you're claiming she'll be able to go intangible to dodge attacks in close quarters when she unwillingly teleports into the Sand Sphere and is surrounded by people who all have better reactions than her by a LONGSHOT.

So yeah - Crimson Avenger teleports into the sphere & is instantly disarmed when Ultimate Wolverine blitzes her & cuts off her hands with his Adamantium Claws - Grifter then picks up her guns & kills her with them just for fun, because hey, why not?

I did see your scans because whenever you debate you just post respect threads for your characters - it's hard NOT to see the scans. What you need to do is actually apply your scans to the battle itself instead of just spamming scans and expecting that to get the point across.

Anyways - those vortexes are cute - but they're not damaging enough to do anything to Gaara's sand which is durable enough to withstand point blank explosions & protect his entire village from a village busting attack - once again check the Deidara fight.

No - they don't, because now Quicksilver has to focus on one more thing trying to kill him.

You're looking at this entire battle like all of these attacks are going to be coming at you one by one instead of one massive assault and you're suggesting that a Mach 5 Quicksilver is capable of dodging the following:

  • ANY of Gaara's sand [ the entire battlefield that QS is running on ] from grabbing him & stopping him with a sudden halt.
  • ANY of Ivy's massive & quick vines from grabbing & stopping him with a sudden halt.
  • ANY of Grifter's TK from stopping him & holding him where he stands.
  • ANY of Ivy's OR Joker's Pheromones/Toxin's from infecting/hurting him.

As you've mentioned - 616 Wolverine was affected by Daken's Pheromones - so Joker's Toxins & Ivy's Pheromones would have an effect on him.

You're highballing Quicksilver to the extreme - especially since he's limited to Mach 5 movement & every attack going against him is an AOE attack with the entire environment fighting against him.

Sand is made up of rocks when they're ground apart - air doesn't travel through solid objects. Gaara can make his sphere of sand dense enough to prevent the exchange of air from getting inside, thus preventing any airborne toxins/chemicals from getting inside the sphere.

Man a tidal wave of Sand or Ivy ripping the ground apart below him wouldn't be an AOE attack would it - oh wait it would.

Quicksilver with a Spider-Sense is cool & all, but it doesn't make him invincible, man.

Speeds are still maxed out at Mach 5 - and Gaara was contending with Rock Lee w/o leg weights & after he opened 5 gates, stopping city busting explosions a mere SECOND before they go off, and much much more.

Heck - Gaara can just create a massive pool of Quicksand like he did against Kimimaro & bury Quicksilver 200 meters below the Earth and have the pressure kill him.

So yep - Quicksilver is gonna get hit, and he's gonna get hit haaaaard.

Your bomb plan is absolutely baseless & quite hilarious - the fact that Luke had to put us both in a PM and ask if you've even read the tournament rules or remebered our discussion about types of things like this in the tournament is proof of that.

Anyways - let's see more on why it's ridiculous:

  • Quicksilver has no knowledge of how to build a bomb.
  • Jill Carlyle has no knowledge of how to build a bomb.
  • You're not allowed to use any types of chemicals or weaponry on the map to make a bomb.
  • You don't have any materials in your standard gear to make a bomb.
  • You actually think you can build a city busting bomb in 2 hours with no materials and no knowledge on how to build a bomb.

Seriously - I thought the bomb thing was a joke, but apparantly you're really adamant about it working.

I already explained that Jill doesn't have control over her teleporting & lacks the reaction times required to go intangible before getting blitzed.

Also - Jill can't fire bullets while intangible, and her bullets are no faster than regular bullets, everyone on my team but perhaps Joker could dodge them with ease.

Sand will work. Vines will work. TK will work. Toxins will work. Speed Blitz will ESPECIALLY work.

Alright - let's explain all the reasons why this won't work.

  1. Gaara can continue to make more and more sand to eventually cover the entirety of the battlefield if he hasn't already covered my entire side with sand.
  2. Ivy can continue to make plants throughout the entire battlefield if she hasn't already covered my entire side.
  3. Gaara's sand has tanked city busting blasts - a silly little vortex isn't going to mess it up if it even had the range.
  4. The vortex isn't going to suck out my team's oxygen, the votrex can't even pierce the defenses.
  5. We're already FAR out of QS's reach considering we can travel a maximum of 50 miles to the sky.
  6. You're claiming Quicksilver can do like 20 things at once while dodging multiple AOE attacks - which is laughable and entirely untrue.

See - it won't work, but you're just going to claim that I'm wrong - it's how EVERY debate between us goes.

Man it'd be a bummer if I had two different types of toxins/pheromones spreading throughout the entire battlefield at the same time...

AOE attacks null out Quicksilvers potential Speed/Reaction advantage & his durability makes him a glass cannon in this scenario.

Quicksilver can be hit, he can be grabbed, he can be touched, he can be etc'd - and he will. His vortexes lack the range to even touch my team while they're in the air & even if he COULD reach us with them he can't pierce the sand sphere - and he won't have the chance to slice n' dice us since we won't be touching the ground.

6. And if all else fails (it won't), QS can literally stop what he's doing, run back over to my side of the city, and chill as Gaara runs out of chakra and my pheromones do their work on your team and cause them to kill each other. And Jill can help by constantly teleporting and shooting everyone.

I've always admired your ability to fully believe in your plans no matter how weak the foundation and how lacking the evidence is for them, so let's look at your "if all else fails" post.

Quicksilver can run back to his side - but Ivy & Gaara can flood that area with plants and sand just as easily. Gaara's fight's usually last an hour or so on average - and his Chakra levels are INCREDIBLY HIGH.

Your Jill argument is lacking & has been completely debunked, but you'll claim that I'm wrong and you're right and she'll just teleport and insta kill everyone because she has tons of proof & feats to support such a thing, right?

Anyways - your team isn't getting to mine, Quicksilver is getting dropped by multiple AOE attacks, and your team is gonna lose.

TTBA's Plan - Summarized Once More

These are the reasons why my plan is superior & your team doesn't stand any sort of a chance against mine.

  • Gaara & the rest of my team are far out of Quicksilver's range - even with his vortexes, Ebony Blade blasts, and Dragon Shouts which you keep calling his SUPER VOICE for whatever reasons.
  • Gaara & Ivy can flood the entire area with plants & sand - Ivy has created forest like areas in cities before this [ I mean look at what she does to Gotham ] and Gaara has flooded areas with sand during practically all of his fights [ this fight against Kimimaro is a really good example ] so Quicksilver has no safe space to run.
  • Quicksilver is weak to AOE attacks - even with Spider Sense he doesn't have a way to defend himself against them or get off the ground.
  • Jill has godawful reaction times & can't control her teleporting - she has no speed feats to backup her killing my entire team or to protect herself the moment she teleports into the sand sphere, if she can even control her teleportation.
  • Your team has 0 answers for Grifter's TK which can also work as an AOE.
  • Your team is also weak against the Joker Toxin/Venom and Ivy's pheromones - even if you blow them away Ivy can make more pheromones.
  • You should've picked a more versatile team instead of making Quicksilver your glass canon.

Anyways - there you have it.

You'll probably claim I'm wrong, always have been wrong, and always will be wrong - that your plan is foolproof and that Jill will just teleport/blitz/instakill bullet spam my entire team.

But hey, I'm used to it by now.

Rebutting your rebuttals:

1.Gaara's eye can't be 360 cause that's impossible for an eye. That's all. Not watching a 30 minute video for that, I know what Gaara's eye does.

2. Fair enough, you can make Joker Toxin, it doesn't help though as I've already explained

3. Since when is being tagged by a bullet thrown by a potentially planet busting Kryptonian bad? you realize the stronger you are, the faster the projectile you throw is right? That speed is so far above the speed of anyone on your team, that I'm not worried about.

And yeah she didn't go intangible cause she couldn't react. But as I said here, she teleports in intangible and blasts your team to death.

Oh and apparently she can't go intangible only against her own bullets:

So what you were mentioning was just convenient writing so Wildcat didn't completely die.

And no one has ever shot her guns except herself. They also wouldn't kill her, nor could Wolverine touch her as she's intangible.

4. Vortexes won't hurt Gaara's sand...did you read my argument? They'll suffocate you, that's the problem. Plus Gaara needs WAAAY more than just a sphere to bust the so-called village busting attacks. And point blank explosions are cool but constant wind will displace sand 100% of the time.

And again, suffocation.

5. Your pheromones can't work through the wind QS is generating. That wouldn't make sense since they're airborn and simply being blown abck towards you.

Gaara's sand nor Ivy's vines have ever caught or touched anyone on QS's level of travel speed and especially not his lightning+ reaction speed with spider sense attached. Gaara's sand struggled against slow ass Lee. And I'll remind you that Kishimoto (creator of Naruto) said that bullets and missiles>Ninja around that time so....not looking good for your sand.

6. You realize if Gaara seals your sphere then you'll suffocate right? With no exchange of air, the oxygen in the sphere becomes nothing but CO2 (something humans can't breathe in) toxins, and pheromones. He HAS to let air through or your team dies.

Add that on to the vacuum I'm creating, and your team dies in seconds.

7. LOLwut. That's a shockwave, something no one on your team can produce, and it's by Thor who has hit lightspeeders. That's 100% irrelevant to this battle. Sand and grass (which take entire seconds to move) won't be touching QS with mach 5 speed and lightning+++ reaction speeds

8. The quicksand needs seconds to hold and grab QS. Seconds Gaara doesn't have. Plus it wasn't quicksand, it was Gaara physically/mentally commanding the sand to bury Kimimaro.

Oh and With Wolverine's healing factor+Ebony Blade (literally make QS immortal and unable to die), the 200m of sand wouldn't affect QS much. Hell, he could just dig his way out, especially with his dragon shouts.

I'll also point out that last time Gaara used his sand to block a village explosion, he died. Last time he made a tidal wave of sand and flew, he ran out of chakra almost RIGHT AFTER, so if you do all of this, that leaves Gaara done and powerless for QS's counter attack.

9. Gaara struggled to hit people who are slower than bullets with no type of pre-cog. QS is mach 5+ with super lightning reactions speeds AND precog. He's not hitting NOBODY

10. Bomb is a joke, but QS doesn't need knowledge on how to build it. He has TP and a town full of people in a high tech city. also they're building it, not QS or Jill

11. Jill's actually always intangible when she fires bullets. That's why special magic and her own bullets are the only thing to harm her. So vines, toxins, claws, speedblitz, none of them work

12. Let's list why your rebuttal against vortex/tornadoes don't work

  • No, Gaara can't keep making sand. That takes chakra. Last time he did a small field, he ran out of chakra. You're gonna cover 50 miles? complete B.S. Know your characters. Also that wouldn't help
  • Ivy's plants won't do anything, nor has she made anything close to 50 miles large
  • Vortex = sucks out air, not damage. It's not even the same thing. you're equating two things that can't be equated.
  • Gaara can't and never has traveled 50 miles in the air, nor can his eye see from that high, nor has he ever controlled sand from that far away. Again, know your characters.   • QS CAN multi-task, he's done so before, he can do it certainly right now since he has pre-cog, spider sense to help him automatically dodge things

13. Don't see how your pheromones have anything to do with mine. QS is blowing away your toxins and pheromones, while his are being carried up towards you. BIG difference.

14. Spidey and Miles dodging lightning, and telepathy

And um...YOU HAVE NO AOE ATTACKS. Not on the level of what's hit QS before. And no, QS is NOT a glass cannon, he's been proven to be more durable then peak humans like Captain America AND has super healing factor AND ebony Blade which makes him immortal

15.LOL No. Ivy nor Gaara have ever flooded ANY AREA that's 100 miles in width or length with plants or sand. I know for a fact they haven't. And lol Gaara's fights have lasted like...5 minutes usually. And last time he did 1/10th of what you're having him do her, he ran out of chakra.

Summary

  • Gaara can't do 1/10th of the things you want him to do
  • Neither can Ivy
  • Can't go over 6000 or 8000m above ground or you suffocate
  • No counter or AoE to counter QS
  • Nothing to counter intangibility or bullets from Jill
  • Nothing to counter suffocation (lol at wind not getting through solid things. as if tornadoes don't wreck entire towns and as if sand isn't FULL of holes
  • None of your rebuttals work

  • Speedblitz gg
  • Teleport+intangibility+bullets that pierce Kryptonians gg
  • Suffocation gg
  • Pheromones mind control gg
  • Wait Gaara and your team out gg
  • Oh and something I could always do if I feel like it, have Jill teleport QS to your team, shout them out of the sand and slice them all up before they react
