World War Hulk vs. The Maestro

WW Hulk.

Maestro. He took on Genis Vel, Thor, Hulk, and pretty much every mainstream villain at the time, and won most of his fights. Including knocking Thor into space with an uppercut. WWH ain't touching that.

Pretty sure that was Professor Hulk he took on, and wasn't Thor just Rick Jones who was in the possesion of his hammer. I'm not certain what Genis-Vell this was, but iirc he had Spider-Man with him. Also what villains did he defeat, when pretty much most of Earth's superhuman population was wiped out.

WWH is considerably stronger/more powerful, as well as being a more skilled fighter.

Both on paper, and in terms of feats.

He did after all not only take on all of the Avengers, he destroyed them too! Besides Maestro knows all WWHulks moves!

@heroesgold: 150 billion tons not 1 billion. We have no idea how Hulk evolves in the future. Fight is a draw.

When Maesto tried to lift Thor's hammer(and failed) he said he is stronger than ever. That include he stonger than savage Hulk. And he proved it with beating prof Hulk.

I think WW Hulk is more skilled fighter, because he was a gladiator too, but when he so mad he saw his war bounds as the earthlings, he couldn't defeat them so easily as Maestro the prof Hulk. And the F4 said that the war bounds almost as strong as Hulk used to be.

Going by statements, Maestro win this.

World War Hulk. Better feats all around, although conceptually speaking, Maestro should still be above him but he has absolutely no feats to support a case for him here. Green Scar breaks his face.

What GR said. Greenscar has the better feats and should win, but by hype and what maestro 'should' be able to do he should theoretically be higher than world war hulk. Although he doesn't have the feats to support that.

Yea unfortunately Maestro defeated so many heroes and villains offscreen so his limited appearance gives him limited feats. But who knows maybe the new Future Imperfect series will show something cool.

@atheistknowledge: yeah, and it looks like odin might be getting involved as well.

@thedailybagel: It's possible though personally i think it's some old version of Thor. Either way don't expect a full powered Odin fighting Maestro, that wont happen any time soon unless Mastero got a big amp from an outside source.

@thedailybagel: Well it doesn't look from the previews that it's the normal Thing we know. I mean Peter David knows regular Thing can't really give a good fight to Hulk let alone Maestro someone who he wrote to take out Hulk, Thor, Silver Surfer, etc... So expect an amped up Thing.

World War Hulk

This one is a really hard VS. We know WWH has beaten a lot of MU's heroes while holding back and even Sentry. WWH did not intend to kill anyone but Meastro on the other hand has killed a lot of powerful MU characters but we don't know if he did it easily or not and the ways he did, all we know is that he did defeat/kill them. I think all we can do is speculate a winner but there really isn't a way to know. But since comic books are usualy made to get the good guys to win and that WWH is the lesser evil of the two, WWH would probably eventually prevail but it would be writen that WWH would need outside help. I do believe Maestro will be Marvel's next flagship villain. Maybe Maestro absorbed the beyonder's power like Doom did before. Man I am so looking forward to this summer and for Maestro !

I'm going to take WW Hulk on this one, but it's close.

I'd wait to after secret wars. Seeing as maestro is popping up allot during and after that period.

Maestro wins..Stronger,more strategic, and he has more of a futuristic feel of the world..

Until we see more of Maestro, WWH wins.

I disagree on the intelligence and cunning and even the strength part might change soon. Especially once "Cosmic Maestro" makes his appearance.

@atheistknowledge: Too bad this thread was created before that moment. Jokes aside, Green Scar is as smart as Bruce Banner and i don't think Maestro is smarter than Bruce Banner, he isn't even Bruce anymore and Maestro doesn't exactly have much strength feats to compete with Green Scar.

@ghostravage: Actually Maestro and Bruce Banner seem to be one in the same, the same way Green Scar and Banner where.

Banner pretended he was Odin to trick the rebels into leading him into their hideout. I agree it's hard to really argue on the intelligence but the interview PAD did earlier he put a lot of emphasis on Maestros 2 century experience which is an attribute that puts him above the rest he conquered.

As for the strength part i agree there with you, but honestly it might change soon especially if we counter in the Maestro from Contest of Champions, but we will have to wait and see.

@atheistknowledge: Bruce Banner in maestro's timeline went insane given how much gamma energy he absorbed and Bruce Banner while insane isn't anywhere close to one that is actually focused on what he's doing. The very essence of Maestro's dictator persona is the fact Banner went insane... Take for example the time where Banner was separated from Hulk during Aaron's run, he was insane as well and couldn't outsmart Hulk which is by far the only character he might know just as much as himself, later on in the same run he managed to actually outsmart him once he was focused again. I wouldn't put too much on Maestro's Banner being as smart as the Real Banner to be honest. Regardless, both should be ridiculously smart anyways.
