Wonder Woman Vs Rogue

Wonder Woman (new-52 version)

Rogue (current; with all of Ms. Marvel's current powers and abilities)

Location: Metropolis

Prep: Rogue gets 30 minutes to prepare for the battle and strategize. She is givin info on Wonder Woman and her gear from Batman and the Justice League.

Miscellaneous: Standard gear.

I say WW wins, but I guess Rogue could maybe pull out a win if she can find a way to make contact with WW long enough to drain her or whatever it is she does. But I doubt it.

Wonder Woman chokes her with her lasso.

I doubt that she could drain WW of her powers. Rogue could hardly manage draining Ares.

Wonder Woman

New 52 Wonder Woman doesn't have enough feats. She hasn't fought anyone with high power-level.

@Illuminatus Damn, if you overload draining Ares of all people you must really suck. Wouldn't you agree?

@royale_with_cheese: That Ares thing shouldn't be taken seriously, imo. Rogue has drained powers from people like Thor, Juggernaut and Legion, all of whom are a lot more powerful than Ares. And she suffered no such reaction in any of those cases.

Nah, Ares doesn't have a jobber aura. He's just that lame.

Rogue wins, anyway. DCnU Diana is sorely lacking in feats, more than any other major character.

I thought it made sense, mainly due to the fact that when she absorbed Ms. Marvel's powers she went temporarily crazy, I believe. I don't recall her absorbing powers from either Thor or Juggernaut. Scans please?

I don't think Rogue absorbing Wonder Woman's abilities will be much of a problem she probably would not be able to absorb all of it but enough to even the odds. The problem is if she could get a hold on Wonder Woman long enough to absorb any without getting knocked out or getting beaten before Wonder Woman jumps on her. I am giving this to Rogue. The new WW has no feats as others said here before, I mean the greatest feat of hers that I remember was lifting and throwing a minivan or whatever that thing is called in issue 6. Rogue on the other hand, not only has her current powers but Ms. Marvel's giving her a lot more powers that current WW who can't even fly now. Plus considering that she doesn't have any info on Rogue and her powers (unless I am reading the OP wrong or something) she is not going to protect herself from Rogue's draining touch.

@ComicMan24: Wonder Woman really doesn't have much feats I know it has been couple months since the New 52 came out, but I expect their would be some development by now, I haven't been reading Wonder Woman so I would't know. But she did go up against Darkseid in Justice League that has to count for something I guess I have to wait and see what happens with Wonder Woman and how her power has changed if at all. What if Wonder Woman was put back into her old pre new-52 earth version would that be to much of problem for Rouge.

Darkseid has no feats, either, so you can't really judge WW based off of that.

He one-shotted Superman and curbstomped Green Lantern. Sounds like feats to me.

@mgrman5: Yeah, she did go up against DS but don't forget that she wasn't alone there. Plus he didn't really seem that phased by her attacks or any other attack for that matter.

The entire Justice League couldn't defeat him no matter what they were attacking him with. If it wasn't for Cyborg activating the mother boxes, Darkseid would most likely have won.

uh hello....new 52 wonder woman in the justice laegue has gone toe t toe with darkseid along with the rest of the league. true...in her own book she hasnt done much of anything but in the justice league comic, wonder woman is still portrayed as a heavy hitter. rogue may have had a chance with odessy wonder woman but new 52 wonder woman stomps.

that video means nothing,rogue with classic ms marvel powers was only class 50 and sonic speed,she would be one shotted by someone with wonder woman's power,rogue can only absorb an small portion of somebody's power after s short contact and can only suastain it for one minute,rogue would need much more than one touch to absorb enough power from wonder woman to take her down,and that isn't going to happen.

Wonder Woman has no idea about Rogue's real power. She'll only consider her as a girl who can fly and kick to an extent. And she's in character. She always takes her time with her opponent. She's not gonna speedblitz or deliver a mountain busting punch at someone she doesn't even know. Rogue needs just some moments to drain her. When Rogue absorbs someone's power, she gets powerful, yes. But her opponent also gets weaker. So, if Rogue manages to touch WW for even a few seconds(which Diana won;t know to avoid), she'll get more powerful and Wonder Woman will grow weaker. Rouge will be at an advantage. I say, Rogue does have a chance at winning this.
