Don’t make battles that are clearly one-sided. Most times this happens when people want to make one character look bad or another look good. Either way it’s childish and a waste of space. Sometimes it’s a mistake because you don’t know all the abilities of one of the characters and it turns out that they have a power that would make them win easily, but that doesn’t happen much (and it really shouldn’t, CV is an encyclopedia, look up characters before you make the fight). If it’s obvious you’re doing it on purpose, the thread will be locked.

Wonder Man has the stats that makes him a good powerhouse, but has always been treated badly and has taken losses from people you would consider that are much lesser than him.

Hal has enough under his belt to pull a rather easy win here.

I don't have to really, you should know about both characters equally before making a thread with them. The fact that you don't know how powerful Hal is in comparison to Simon is what really makes this thread pointless. But I'll entertain you with some knowledge.

When a time displace Rookie Hal comes into contact with Zero-Hour Parallax, he is forced to face him in battle twice. In the first encounter he takes Zero Hour Parallax down with surprise attacks:

Trapped in Sinestro?s body, Hal takes on the entire Justice League (Whose bodies are inhabited by various Super Villains). While this makes them less skilled, it also makes them more vicious and more all out:

@Ancient_0f_Days: I'll be honest, I knew what their powers are but not how the full extention of hal's powers, those feats are awesome, I see why nobody did it before, now hal is not in my top ten of dc but in my top 5

Thats not all Hal can do, Hal has made himself invisible before, contained a Super Nova in a construct, hit Cyborg Superman with a blast as hot as the sun, completely owned Mongul etc .... Simon isn't in his league, and now you see why this is a mismatch.

Green Lantern, however i would like to see this battle if WM were in a pure ionic energy state.

Some of those scans look to be pre-Crisis. In some of them Hal is still weak to yellow, and Alan is weak to wood.

Green lantern Jordan all day every day

Hal Jordan with Incredible ease. Hal would probably make wise cracks after beating his hiney.

I love Green Lantern but am not at all sure he would win. Wonder Man was created to be able to defeat Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Giant Man and Wasp on his own and nearly did. He was the only one to be able to hurt Korvac. He does not tire. Simon could take, easily, any pounding Hal might dish out for 24 hours and then simply squeeze his head off while he recharged. Most people who say such things do not know much about WM.

Hal wins so fast. Wonder Man is cool, though.

I believe this fight would be a lot closer than some people think.

Not that's it's canon, but in the crossover, Ionic Wonder Man was busting through lantern constructs and getting ready to lay hands on GL until Superman intervened.

I think Simon actually has superior strength, endurance and durability to GL. Wonder Man's main problem is he's not a great fighter, and doesn't really like fighting all that much. Green Lanterns, on the other hand, are literally cosmic cops, trained and ready to take down all manner of powerful cosmic beings.

I would say Hal's fighting experience and versatility give him an edge here, but it's a tough fight and not a stomp. Especially since the OP states they are both in character... because that means Hal is going to have more of a will to fight to the end than Simon, imo.
