I have never seen act like that before.
Here's some info on it from the OHOTMU,

"The exact nature and scope of the "cosmic awareness" granted to Mar-Vell by Eon have never been clearly defined. Apparently it enabled him to sense the presence of beings and objects in the universe that were somehow of importance to him for whatever reason. It may be somewhat comparable to Spider-Man's spider-sense and to Mantis's awareness of psychic "vibrations," but its scope was far greater than either."

He has used it to guide him to people or places from across space and he has also used it to discerne when things / reality was wrong.

How will Cap prevent it ?

If you go strictly by Marvel's figures, Wonder Man is approx 6.7 times stronger than Capt Mar-vell.
He is far more durable and has faster reactions (superhuman vs enhanced human according to the OHOTMU)

Cap can fly faster, has energy blasts that have damaged powerhouse characters before (like the Hulk) and is a better hand to hand fighter.

But overall, I don't see him winning this battle.

That site's content can be written by anyone.

The most recent published OHOTMU (late last year I think), put Mar-vell still at 15 tonnes and clearly did not indicate the ability to destroy planets.
His durability was also not as high as Wonder Man's.

And i've heard a lot of people dismiss things from that OHOTMU becuase it contradicts things that have happened in the comics.

At least it's a published source.
A person who knows nothing about any of the characters can log on to web sites and start writing updates as they please.
If they look plausible to a layman, then they can be updated.

Not every 'fact' in the OHOTMU are correct.

Take for instance the temperatures that Wonder Man can survive. They are way too low in the handbook to what he has been shown to take.

However I would tryust to the handbook first before a sites content as the source of the info for the handbook is known (Marvel writers).

Thanks for stating that about wonderman creator. WM has survived way worse than what the handbook indicates. Everytime he tangles with thor, thor is shown losing until he uses mjolnir. He has also frequently gone blow for blow with the hulk.

This is an awesome match! While Captain Marvel has a much higher degree of combat experience, possibly speed, and agility ... yeah Wonder Man is pretty much unstoppable.

Wonder Man far outclasses Mar-Vell in strength. Wonder Man is at 100 tons + while Mar-Vell is only at 15 tons. Strength wise, Mar-Vell shouldn't be able to hurt Wonder Man. With his energy attacks he might beable to casue damage, but I doubt its enough.
