Wolverine vs The Winter Soldier.

Movie versions. All battles take place on the same highway TWS fought Cap, aside from round 3. Win by death for Wolverine, ko/incap for TWS unless specifed, as he has only been told to capture the Wolverine for Hydra. In Character.

Round 1: Standard gear, begin 10 feet apart.

Round 2: Bucky only has his knife [which is coated in adamantium]. Begin 10 feet apart.

Round 3: Bucky is hunting Wolverine, Wolverine knows somebody incredibly dangerous is hunting him. Anything goes, but Wolverine is on his own.

Round 4: No weapons for either [including claws] non-adamatium Wolverine. Win by death.

Interesting that you think Wolverine wins round 3, what makes you think this?

@rogueshadow: It will take longer for Bucky to take Logan down without his launcher and admantium tipped knife, he'll get stabbed before wearing him down with punches from his left arm

Bucky has no feats here in the U.S. so based on that (and my stubbornness) Wolverine takes it.

I hate movie Wolverine so Winter Solider wins all rounds.

Haven't seen the movie yet though. My girlfriend is making me see Divergent instead....-_-

Winter Soldier takes this. He wins either by shooting Logan in the head and stunning him. Or with a tree.

Please take Wolverine's high end feats into account, guys, he actually has quite a lot more of those than he does PIS moments.

Wolverine had a lot of potential, but it was ruined by Fox. Thank you Fox for making Wolverine such a Brute.

When he fought the samurai guy in the house one on one, Logan was getting slashed the F up and schooled in H2H. If it wasn't for his healing factor he would have got dominated.

Now this Wolverine has been KOed by a bullet to the head and also having his head hit by a log (he didn't have adamantium at that time though from my memory.)

I don't know if he can take the Winter Soldier on. He just needs to stab teh Winter Soldier, he has the tools to kill the Winter Soldier, but honestly he just lacks the skill.

@slimj87d: But he also tanked bullets to the head with ease in X:Men Origins, tanked many shots from the blob, tanked many shots from the Juggernaut, tanked crashing from a helicopter, tanked smashing into a Sentinel via a fastball special, tanked a strike to the head from a stray piece of steel which made Colossus stagger [though Rogue was draining him at the time]. He has a strong damage soak, those moments mentioned are PIS to be honest.

@rogueshadow: Which version of movie Wolverine? X1/2 was knocked out by a car crash, a tree and a bullet. Origins Wolverine was a mini reality warper and could shrug off falls that would probably kill X1/2 Wolverine.The Wolverine.... Wolverine almost knew how to fight.

@erik: A lot of his low end feats were PIS to manouever him to places he needed to be in my opinion, I'd prefer it if people used his high end feats since they are more numerous, but it's really up to you, if you think his low end feats are of greater credibility, it's really up to you.

I prefer the reality warper Wolverine. His cuts disintegrated a fire escape and (due to reality warping) cause the fire escape to collapse. That Wolverine would trash Bucky.

Wait, does Bucky have a log?

Won't work on the reality warper Wolverine. He used his powers to remain unphased by Barakapool's optic blasts once the claws were crossed. Crossing the claws creates a force field that negates all force.

Round 1: Bucky, dude was pulling weapons outta nowhere, and Logan's durability varies. In X2, One bullet put him down for about 30 seconds, the adamantium bullet in Origins for even longer, I can see Bucky, with his uzis and machine guns doing the job.

Round 2: Logan. Close combat won't fair well for bucky, he can slash away all he wants, but Logan will heal from it, but vice versa, each wound that Logan gets in is potentially fatal.

Round 3: Depends on the weapons Bucky has and if it's close combat or not, if not, see my round 1 answer, if it is, see my round 2 answer.

Round 4: Bucky, Logan can't fight, he just slashes wildly with claws, both Deathstrike and Mystique have been shown to have an advantage on him h2h.

Logan has shown a consistent vulnerability to blunt force trauma, so I think Bucky take him down.

1. 50/50 Edge to Winter Soldier. (I edge this out to Winter Soldier due to the Rapid way he was alternating weapons and firing at close range. A bullet to the head can KO him, so slight edge to Bucky here)
2. Wolverine (Without weapons Bucky won't last as long. He could potentially get theKo with his higher physicals, but it's unlikely.)
3. Winter Soldier (This is essentially giving Bucky prep, and looking at the weapons he had access to, means he's just going to snipe Logan with a high calibre round, which will KO him.
4. Winter Soldier (this is the least close imo. Without claws Logan isn't doing anything.)

What makes guys think Wolverine will take Round 4? No claws means this is just H2H, and Logan doesn't have the physicals or the skill to win IMO. No shade just curious :)
