Although Wolverine does win, saying Star-Lord is not in Logan's level is just plain silly. The guy has beaten Thanos....three times!!! Sure it's with prep, but he's ALWAYS prepared. He's always going to be a step ahead of his opponent, and can find ways to outsmart them.
In a test of skill, Star-Lord is probably going to lose here, because his generic gear hasn't really been put to the test since his Element Gun has been retconned. Give Star-Lord a chance to really have a few good battles with his guns, and I have a feeling no one would question him beating a character as low in power level as Wolverine.
I still think Star-Lord has a pretty good chance to take this with his wits, he's a champ on the fly when it comes to out of the box strategies. Not saying he does win, because the more likely result is Wolverine in a straight up battle, but he definitely could (and should actually stomp) win if Star-Lord is being portrayed true to his character.
